Apple Magic Keyboard (for 12.9-inch iPad Pro - 5th generation) - Chinese (Pinyin) - White

I have been questioning whether or not to buy the Magic Keyboard for months due to the price. I bought a cheaper alternative and hated it, having to pair the Bluetooth every time and features that work on the Apple Magic Keyboard not available on the alternative one annoyed me and so i decided i would return it and got the official Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad 12.9” on Black Friday and like all Apple product i have not been disappointed. Yes the Magic Keyboard is expensive but the quality is what you would expect from Apple, well made and it just works, no mucking about with Bluetooth and once you know how operate it with your iPad it will effectively turn it into a laptop. Best decision i ever made.

Expensive keyboard and cover but the build quality is exceptional and it looks and feels amazing. The keys feel nice when typing and it’s nice to not to have to hold the iPad. If you can afford it, the Magic Keyboard really does add to the experience of owning an iPad and makes it much more than a tablet. I’m ok with typing on a tablet screen but it really makes a difference using real keys. In all well worth the purchase.

Expensive - but wirks as you would expect with typical apple quality.

This case does the job for an iPad. Here are my thoughts: Price is slightly too expensive, it’s a simple keyboard and isn’t worth anything over £100 in my opinions Item is heavier than the iPad itself! Combined total weight makes this heavier than a MacBook Air. Backlights on keyboard are a nice touch. Case gets dirty easily due to build material. Keys are easy to wipe, but case itself isn’t. Magnetic clip on and off make it easy to detach and attach.

Excellent addition to my 12.9” iPad Pro - especially as I got it from Amazon Warehouse at a cheaper price, and Amazon was offering a discount on selected items (including this). The item was, effectively, brand new - the box was sealed, the keyboard was still fully wrapped in the original protective packaging. I can only assume that the reason for the return was that the original purchaser bought the wrong size, and this thing didn’t look like it had even been opened. So far, so good - the keyboard works as expected, and looks fantastic. The only minor downside is that the Pencil has no protection - it still attaches to the iPad via magnet for charging, but there is a risk of it falling off if out and about; I bought a laptop sleeve which fits snugly and keeps the pencil in place when traveling.

The Apple Magic Keyboard is the perfect device to combine with your iPad Pro. It transforms it into a laptop. While there are cheaper options in the market, if you care about quality, this is definitely a good investment for you. I've seen some cheaper options that did the job, but the overall experience wasn't as good. Now, onto the product itself. You can attach your tablet magnetically, and it doesn't require a battery as it draws its energy from the tablet. The keyboard is backlit and supports all of Apple's gestures. It also has a Type-C port, so you can charge your iPad through it and keep your iPad's Type-C port free to connect an external drive. The typing experience is also great.

Excellent Apple keyboard with easy connection, expensive but usually is for Apple but overall excellent performance, bit disappointed that no brightness or lock switch on main keyboard was only criticism

Great device , really fits the iPad well, almost turns the iPad in to a fully fledged Mac , it can now keep up with my Mac book pro .. only down side is its on the more expensive side ...

Poco más que decir de un producto Apple. Es cierto que añade bastante peso al producto, pero la calidad que ofrece lo merece. Si lo consigues a buen precio no lo dudes ni un instante, yo estuve mirando otras opciones y no me arrepiento lo más mínimo de la compra. Encaja perfectamente en mi iPad Air M3 de 13”

Compré el Apple Magic Keyboard para el iPad Pro de 12,9 pulgadas (5.ª generación) porque buscaba convertir la tablet en una herramienta de trabajo más completa, y lo cierto es que ha superado mis expectativas. Es un accesorio caro, sí, pero también es el que mejor aprovecha todo el potencial del iPad. En pocas palabras: es muy útil con el iPad y cambia por completo la experiencia de uso. 🔹 Primeras impresiones El teclado tiene un diseño elegante, minimalista y muy en la línea de Apple. La sensación al abrirlo y colocar el iPad con su sistema magnético es excelente: queda perfectamente alineado y da la impresión de ser un portátil ultraligero. La calidad de los materiales es premium, con un acabado resistente que además protege el iPad cuando está cerrado. 🔹 Escritura y uso diario El teclado en sí es una maravilla. Las teclas tienen un recorrido corto, pero con un tacto muy agradable y preciso. Es cómodo para escribir durante horas sin cansancio, algo que no siempre se consigue en teclados compactos. Además, la retroiluminación regulable es muy práctica para trabajar en entornos con poca luz. El trackpad integrado es otro gran acierto: fluido, preciso y totalmente integrado en iPadOS. Permite controlar el dispositivo como si fuera un portátil, lo que agiliza muchísimo el trabajo en tareas de edición, ofimática y multitarea. 🔹 Ángulos y comodidad El sistema de bisagra flotante permite ajustar el ángulo del iPad con facilidad, adaptándolo a cada situación. Esto resulta muy cómodo tanto para escribir como para ver contenido multimedia. La estabilidad es excelente: no se tambalea y da confianza incluso al teclear rápido. 🔹 Conectividad y batería Un detalle que me gustó mucho es que el teclado incorpora un puerto USB-C lateral, lo que permite cargar el iPad desde ahí y dejar libre el puerto principal para otros accesorios. Además, no necesita batería propia, ya que se alimenta directamente del iPad a través del conector magnético. 🔹 Aspectos a mejorar El principal inconveniente es el precio. Es un accesorio caro, y aunque ofrece la mejor integración posible con el iPad, hay opciones más económicas en el mercado. Sin embargo, ninguna iguala la experiencia que ofrece este teclado. 🔹 Conclusión En definitiva, el Apple Magic Keyboard para iPad Pro 12,9” es el complemento ideal para quienes usan la tablet como herramienta de trabajo. Es muy útil, cómodo y práctico, convirtiendo al iPad en un auténtico sustituto del portátil en muchas tareas. Lo recomendaría sin dudarlo a quienes quieran sacar el máximo partido a su iPad Pro, especialmente en el ámbito profesional o de productividad.

This keyboard doesn't fully fold back. It's impractical if you want to keep using your iPad as a simple tablet.

Sure it is not a cheap product, but it certainly works very well. It was a present for my wife and it has been in very frequent use for the past three years without any issues.
