I bought this as a general protection for my watch as I do a reasonable amount of manual work and most watches get scratched. It does not cover the glass, but the tiny lip at the edges appears to give enough protection from general scratching.One thing I have found is that it reduces my accidental invoking of Siri. I wear my watch on my right hand which means the crown is at the bottom of the watch, so when I flex my wrist it was quite easy to find myself pressing the crown. Now, with the cover on, I have found that it's not happening anywhere near so often, but without actually making it difficult to use the crown.Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that I've had the case fall off a couple of times after swimming.

Just gives you extra protection for the watch face - very simple to fit and lasts well. This is my second one, previous was on a Five series, this is on the larger eight series

It’s a good product and worked great but after only having it for a month it’s fell off and been lost, so not that impressed sadly. I was out walking when it came off so not as if it’s hit off anything to make it come off. Gutted 😢

Great little thing and I’d highly recommend with one caveat - these things will inexplicably fall off and are easily lost. I don’t have an over active job or lifestyle, but I’m sure there must be some chance thing that dislodges the cover. I end up buying a new one perhaps every three to four months. In the early days it was one a month, but now I check it is fitted securely as often as O check the time and that helps. Even so, money well spent for the protection it provides.

This is easy to install even with the watch on your wrist. It protects the sides of the watch and is raised the whole way round the front edge of the watch protecting the screen from a scratch from a wall, door or any object with a flat side or edge. It does not provide protection from direct blows to the front of the watch for instance something with a sharp corner or pointy end. As I have mostly scratched watches in the past by rubbing against walls, doors or worktops this suits me well enough. This form of protection may not be as good as a screen protector but means that you see and touch the display directly.It will be especially important for me for the six months or so around the summer when I wear short sleeves and the watch would be vulnerable.

Be aware that water will get trapped between the screen and the protective plastic one it if you swim or shower in it. You need to take the protector off and dry the watch and protector

Easy to install

Tried various others but they always disappear off the watch. So far so good on this one. So pleased. Unfortunately though the wake up screen does not function with it installed
