Holds water in my bathtub! Get to delay rehabbing! Yay!!
It works really great! My fiberglass bathtub was not installed properly and cracked… I tried epoxy repair kits and even called out three contractors to quote repairing my tub… All the contractors pricing included replacing the tub and all the tile surrounding it. The cheapest quote was $7000… I bought this stuff, slapped it on the crack after a good cleaning and drying and I have no hesitation taking baths and I’m not getting any leaks in the ceiling below… I’m saving my bath rehab money for the future when I can do a better job! It saved me a lot of money and although it doesn’t look great it’s not visible when you walk in the bathroom as it’s on the interior wall that faces away from the room…

Great product but don’t believe what you see on tv
I purchased flex tape for a few different problems I had. The first was a leak in my water storage tank. The other was a crack in a pond. What I liked: ✅ Quality: very strong and sturdy material will definitely hold up over time. ✅ Seal: when used on a completely dry surface and smoothed out creates a water tight seal. Almost impossible to get off. What I didn’t like ❌ not as seen on tv: this product is shown to be able to apply on an active leak and still seal. You won’t get a perfect seal this way and have small leaks. Only apply to fully dry areas. Same goes for clean smooth surfaces. ❌ heat and weight weaken: if this is used where heat builds up and any sort of weight is applied at the same time it will loosen the adhesive. Overall I do like the product to patch things up but don’t use it like you see on tv. Fully clean and dry the area first. If applying to a surface with texture know that water can travel in the small crevices and still leak out.

grab the tape and fix that leak
great product when a water leak occurs. we used this to fix a leaky pond. we were not sure where the leak was, so this tape was large enough to cover enough area to stop wherever the leak was. I also put it around a gutter downspout, where there is a connection, that always seems to leak, not only did the job, but the black color was the same color . no one sees the patches. Been a good problem solver for my water leaks .nice and sticky .too/easy to use .

It lived up to neither their advertising claims, nor my low/realistic expectations
Meh. It's kind of hard to work with and didn't live up to expectations. The glue is very tacky, which I was initially pleased with, since I planned to use this to seal a crack in the pipe that runs to our garden spigot until my landlord could get a plumber out to fix this (the garden spigot isn't exactly a priority for him, so this wasn't going to be done soon). This stuff didn't work at all the first time, which I thought was just an application issue on my part, so I tried again... then again... Then I went to the hardware store like I should have the first time. For the first attempt, I cleaned the pipe thoroughly and it was completely dry. I cut off enough to wrap around the pipe, covering the small <1/4" split with the entire width of the tape and wrapped about 3" of tape around the pipe to securely hold it. I wrapped it tightly and smoothed out any air bubbles as I went to ensure the tape was making good contact on the pipe for it's full length. The moment the water turned on, it started spraying out of the ends where the tape met the starting point. I tried doing it a second time, this time drying the pipe again, new piece of tape about the same length, but this time I used a screw driver to use as a kind of bone tool to press the tape together at that first seam, thinking the tacky glue just needed to make contact and seal the little spot where the tape met itself. I also smoothed out air bubbles as I wrapped it. Still no luck. Third time, I took off the tape from before, cut only enough to warp around the pipe, so the ends didn't touch each other. Oddly enough, this worked... for a couple of hours of use. I had been turning the water valve on/off as I needed the hose, so the tape wasn't under constant pressure, thinking I could prolong it's use, but it lasted about 3 hours before a water bubble formed under the tape. Just like a balloon, once it started inflating, it continued until the bubble reached the edge of the tape and it was done for. If you need this for plumbing, I'd recommend against it. Just go to the hardware store and buy a pipe repair clamp and be done with it. The repair clamp was about $11 and has been holding like a CHAMP for 2 weeks now, this was $13 and seems like it doesn't meet even their own claims. Also note the description says the bond is permanent after 24 hours and cannot be removed... That's not true. It's as easy to remove after 2 days as it was after 2 hours. And if you have trouble getting the adhesive off of your scissors or knife, just use Goo Gone and it'll come right off. The adhesive oddly enough sticks to EVERYTHING you don't want it to stick to and scissors WILL get gunky after the first cut. Goo Gone will save your tools from this mistake of a purchase.

All it did was stick to itself
I’m giving this product 3 stars because its adhesion qualities are undeniably strong. However, they were too strong for practical use. Once one side of the tape touched the other, it became impossible to separate, and the more I tried the worst it got until it had curled into a large, unusable blob. Unfortunately, this made the tape a waste of both time and money.

This flex tape works great
Super sticky and that’s a great thing. Used this temporarily after a branch punctured the roof. Worked perfectly until my contractor could do a full repair. Tape is thin but strong and playable. Seals nicely. One thing to note is it’s only about 4 inches high. The image makes it appear much larger.

Just be careful when using them, they are 10 times stickier than your average tape.
