Great Magnetic Rower! The neutral grips are amazing!
I've been in the market for a rowing machine that has neutral grips, and didn't think there were any options out there, until I stumbled across this! I was hesitant at first because it didn't have a ton of reviews, but I had to try it out! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER HERE!This rower is really simple to put together, as long as you can follow the dummy proof instructions. It doesn't have a very large footprint when being used, and folds decently for storage. I would have liked for it to be a bit more compact when folded up but that's not a big problem for me. It's a little over 60 lbs so moving it around is very easy and it has casters on the front legs to further assist in relocating. The removable handles were the selling point of this unit for me. The free swivel allows numerous hand positions for building different parts of your back, that standard rowers do not offer. The only minor downside I can see with the handles is that they slightly shorten your stroke range of motion because of the added length from the bar. But again, very minor issue compared to the gained versatility these handles provide. Installing/removing takes only a few seconds, so transitioning in the middle of a workout is quite easy.Upon first testing, I felt as though the lvl 8 resistance setting was too soft to be the hardest, but once in the middle of an actual workout, I had to reduce it quite a bit to stay moving. So there is plenty of potential for building up to a more strenuous workout! This unit is also extremely quiet, one of the quietest I've used. They say that water and air rowers give more of an actual "rowing in water" feeling, but they are much louder and I purchased this for the workout aspect, so simulating an actual oar stroke in water wasn't very high on my list. The digital display is pretty basic. There are limited stats that you can scan through. I wish it had strokes per minute, but that's not a very big deal. The available stats are: Time, Calories, Strokes, and an overall Stroke counter that resets at 9,999. What I do love about each stat though, is that you can start at zero and count up, OR you can pre set the stats to countdown to zero as a goal to achieve. For example: If you zero out the display and just start rowing, everything counts up and keeps track. But you can also pre set numbers such as time or strokes (unsure on the calories as I've yet to try it but I assume you can) that then count down as you row, until your set counter hits zero, and then it begins counting up like normal. The display wakes up and keeps track of progress on it's own, you just have to zero out the stats if you want to keep track as it just continues from wherever you left off before.Lastly, it has a generous sized phone/tablet tray for entertainment, which is always nice. Great machine!

Can be put together by one person however a 2nd person would be very helpful
I used to workout at the Y starting with water aerobics then advancing to the weight room once I got my core strengthened. It got to be to costly in gas going 3 times a week since it's clear on the other side of town from where I live. Did I miss working out? Absolutely!! I did low impact cardio on Treadmill and rowing machine plus lifted weights using the equipment.Three years later finally could afford to get myself a rower at home. I looked at several and was down to a selection of three that really caught my interest to invest in. One was very inexpensive and reviews on it were mixed. The other one had lots of positive reviews with 16 resistance levels and then this one that had the Cycles attached to handlebar became my choice to invest in however wish it also had 16 resistance but only 8.However, I really don't understand why there are so little reviews on this rower. I will be honest I wish it had more then 8 resistance on it however even doing a workout on 8 for 30 minutes will get you in shape. You can definitely feel the resistance when increasing resistance!! (shh only currently on resistance 1 for 15 minutes) Update: I can now do 20 minutes on resistance 5. Do I feel rower is built solid? Absolutely!! Am I satisfied? Absolutely!! Do I recommend for anyone else to purchase this rower? Absolutely!!After 3 years of Depression and over eating from the scare of Covid I finally got my spirits lifted back up and going to make a difference by getting myself back in shape! Now for the negative...the tablet holder and it's instructions makes no sense to me. For one it tilts backwards and second there is no way to keep the tablet from sliding off on the sides. There needs to be some kind of plastic molding to keep tablet from sliding off on both sides. The grip in front of it can snap on the tablet ?????? Ah no, it's a flat black plastic holder kinda looking like a mini tray and nothing to secure the tablet. I am going to have to get a short bungee cord that will keep tablet holder from tilting backwards and also secure tablet to holder. I knock off 1 star for the way the tablet holder is designed.

very underrated product
I chose this over other top-selling rowing machines for 3 reasons. 1: heavier weight 2: it handles more weight 3: rotating handlebarSo far so good. I thought 8 levels would be insufficient but actually, it's good enough for me. I'm 5.8ft male.

Affordable, easy to set up, smooth, quiet. Performs well.
I am elderly and needed a machine I could use with ease. I love this machine. I can adjust the tension for days I don’t feel like a hard workout and days I do. the seat is padded and comfortable, the wrist release is perfect for my old joints. It was so easy to put together with steps 1-6 written on the packs. I love how quiet and smooth the movement is. Its tension goes to 8 which might not be enough for the athletic type but it great for someone like me. Right now I use 4 and that’s good for me. It was very affordable and does the job. I recommend it.

Put 2 AAA batteries behind display
The rowing machine was easy to set up following the enclosed directions and tools. The only thing that seemed to be missing in directions was a step to put two AAA batteries in behind the display. When I asked where the batteries went they immediately sent pictures making it simple to do. I love the rotating hand grips and am working on my posture while using them! It fit perfectly on the far wall of my yoga room.
