I ordered this book for as a class requirement. It has proven to be an awesome resource! This is a must have purchase for teachers, administrators, and instructional coaches!

Ce livre est entièrement en anglais, il est destiné aux professeurs américains enseignant l'anglais au niveau primaire et secondaire jusqu'en lycée (K12 = terminale), mais les conseils donnés et les explications sont également applicables aux élèves de lycée français (notamment les bons groupes de 2ndes, les 1e et terminales) apprenant l'anglais langue étrangère et travaillant la littérature anglaise (élèves de L). Ouvrage remarquable de clarté et proposant des exercices et méthodes dont la mise en œuvre en classe demande quelques ajustement, mais finalement pas de modification radicale de nos pratiques. Je le recommande à tout enseignant d'anglais.

This is an accurate, intelligent and practical guide to teaching English to the highest standard. It encompasses everything a non-specialist needs to know and is highly transferable to all other areas of the curriculum. It also helps teachers really see what visible learning means and makes real applications for it all. It's attention to research is exemplary, and makes brilliant distinctions for the different stages of learning, which we may have met in Blooms or SOLO, but not fully assimilated. My only criticism is that some of the videos I have watched so far don't quite hit the mark for me.
