Reliable and Affordable Smoke Pen for Airflow Testing
This smoke pen has been an incredibly useful tool for understanding air movement in my home, particularly for diagnosing radon mitigation effectiveness. It produces a steady, visible stream of smoke that makes it easy to track airflow patterns around vents, doors, and basement areas. The build quality is solid, and after months of use, it still performs just as well as when I first got it. It’s compact, easy to handle, and doesn’t create any mess or strong odors. Unlike DIY alternatives, this pen provides a controlled and consistent smoke output, making it much more reliable for precise testing. For the price, it’s an excellent value. Whether you're troubleshooting radon mitigation, HVAC efficiency, or general ventilation issues, this smoke pen is a must-have tool. Highly recommended for its durability, ease of use, and affordability!

Don't waste your money and patience on this thing.
Bought it to test a shop dust collection system. I gave up after 15 minutes trying to get this thing working consistently. I buy a tool to perform a task, not to fight with me. The smoke stream is inconsistent at best, at worse there is no smoke and only sore fingers. It's just an awfully designed and sloppily manufactured piece of junk. Straight to the trash bin where it belongs.Bought the Artic Pen to replace this thing. It's not pretentious and it is reliable at the same price.

Smoke
Works fairly well. Difficult to secure plug in fill port, so leaks at times. Pump trigger is inconsistent, large puff at times and less at times. Strength of batteries may have some affect on amount of smoke. I may need to learn to work it. Product met my needs.

Fantastic for the value.
Works great for value. Close in value to smoke pens but better. Cheaply made but as I just noted a smoke pen costs about the same and this works a lot better so comparatively it is great. Well worth the price versus other options. I use smoke testers regularly for work and am happy with it even considering it might not last very long which is why I gave it five stars.

Didn't work for what I needed it for
I was using this to see if I had air leaks in my attic after installing an attic exhaust fan. The unit does produce vapor gas, the problem is it's very heavy, so if the suction isn't fairly powerful you can't tell if it's sucking it in or not. I returned it, but I could see it working for something else. I ended up using an insense stick which worked because the smoke has more lift.

Obsessed with finding drafts!
I got this to help identify drafts around windows, doors, walls…anything! It produces a white smoke which is easy to see with the green light it emits. It took a few tries to understand how to use it since directions were not the best. Lightly pull the button (not the pressure trigger thing) and it will begin to smoke.Pulling the trigger will create puffs or a lot of smoke at once but will also deplete the smoke so will momentarily need to create more.Overall it does exactly what I wanted it to for a fair price.

No Instructions
There were no instructions so I tried to fill it but fluid flying everywhere. Now I’m out of fluid and I have an unusable device. Useless

Works great
Works as expected. I was able to precisely track down air leaks. The trigger could use some improvement but that’s a minor thing
