This one was a good book but was a bit far fetched for me. How can a drop dead gorgeous twin have sex with one woman and then not have sex again for nearly 12 years while in his twenties? Bakers story I can believe. If she had an ectopic pregnancy with complications, I think I’d give up sex just fine.I loved the beginning when she’s a spoiled rich brat that gets a tough dose of reality. I can totally see that happening. And I could see Blake falling for her when he finds her in the shelter. I can totally see it.And when her sister gets caught in a foreign country and is being held and tortured...that part I can see. The part I can’t is when Marcus just walks into the camp, picks a lock and walks away with her unseen in the middle of the night?!? Come on.I still loved both Harper and Blake as adults. I was routing for them to get together. And I was happy when they found their happily ever after, even if it wasn’t realistic. Still a good book.

Their Instant Love Story Is A Feel-Good Read. Another Great Story About The Colter Family Of Colorado.This is the tenth book in The Billionaire’s Obsession series. Books one through five are centered around Tampa, Florida. Book six is a bridge between The Sinclairs series and this series, but it also shifts the series to Colorado. Here the series continues in Colorado with Blake Colter and Harper Lawson. It also continues Marcus’s story, which has been building in trickles and is the next book in the series.The Colter family is well-known for their good looks, genius IQ’s, and billionaire status. Widow Aileen Colter runs the family’s Rocky Springs Resort. Her late husband Russell had died in the 1990’s in an incident while traveling in the Middle East. The oldest sibling Marcus took over for his father, overseeing most of the Colter Corporation’s vast holdings and is often away on business. His twin Blake is a US Senator, sometimes referred to as the cowboy senator in reference to his cattle ranch. Zane works as a research doctor in biotechnology out of Denver. Chloe is the baby sister. She has recently graduated from vet school.Tate Colter and Lara Bailey find love in Billionaire Untamed, book seven. This book picks up in late winter, probably four to six months after the last book left off based on Blake’s age (and that Zane and Ellie were probably married in the fall). Marcus had just recruited Blake to stand-in for him for the first time during that epilogue. There are two timestamps. First, Blake is thirty-four here, and in the last book he was roughly thirty-three or thirty-four. Additionally, Lara has one year left of college in this book. With her prior career in the FBI, she almost certainly had a degree already when she went back to school. It is unclear whether she is earning a second degree or a graduate degree, nor how long that program was expected to take to complete. We do know that Blake has stood-in for his twin multiple times by the time this story begins.Trying to picture the family and their ages can be tricky. Based on facts pieced together here and in the previous Colter stories, here is a summary of the approximate ages of the Colter kids as this story begins: Marcus and Blake, twins – thirty-four, Zane – thirty-three, Tate – thirty-two, and Chloe, thirty-one.Blake and Harper’s heartbreaking story is sweet and spicy. Their instant love story is a feel-good read. Another great story about the Colter family of Colorado. It is a light, quick read. The story is well-written and plot-driven. Marcus’s storylines adds an element of excitement. The characters are well-developed. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Blake and Harper, with two sections in Marcus’s POV. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

Blake and Harper knew each other as children, but back then Harper was a spoiled brat and not a very nice person. After running away from her cozy and cushy life, Harper gets a first hand account of what it is to be truly needy and sees the suffering of people who cannot afford to keep a roof over the head, warm clothes on their backs, or enough food in the bellies. This revelation truly starts her metamorphous into a caring and loving woman who is not only grateful for her family and the life she has been given, but wants to give back. This is the girl that Blake falls in love with after he finds her at a shelter and they enjoy a one-night stand on a cold winter’s night. Unfortunately, Blake has a more outgoing identical twin, Marcus, who Harper mistakenly believes is the one who found her and who she sees later with his girlfriend. Since Blake did not clear up the misunderstanding with Harper when she thought he was Marcus immediately, the couple spends years apart due to a misunderstanding. Although they both go on to do good work for the people they serve, Harper in building homes for the homeless and Blake serving as a Senator to the people of Colorado, each goes through their own sense of loss because they are missing their other half. When the couple again meet, Blake is purposefully pretending to be his brother, Marcus, who is on a rescue mission to save Harper’s sister, Dani. This time however, Blake is not going to let the woman he has been pining for be under any misunderstanding. The reader will love seeing Harper and Blake fall in love as Harper is hiding from the press on his ranch, but will feel Harper’s angst in feeling she is not enough because she can no longer give Blake children of their own because of an ectopic pregnancy that caused damage when they first had sex years ago. When this hot alpha male lets Harper know that children do not have to be biological to make a family and true love can conquer any perceived problems, the reader will sigh in relief and say finally, the man who knows true love will finally be able to hold on to it for himself.

I had waited for this new installment for months. As I began to read it, I knew right away that it would not be one of her better books. The story line did not seem to flow together among the characters, it was choppy, and bordered on being boring. This is not something that I expect from a J.S. Scott series book. I have read about 40% of the book, and will put it away. I may come back when I have nothing else to read. I thought about jumping to the end to get it over with. J.S. Scott remains one of my favorite authors. It is my hope that she returns to her previous writing style.

One half of identical twins , Blake Coulter went on a mission of mercy to find the daughter of close family friends the Lawsons , both families are extremely wealthy but Harper the daughter in question wasn’t that nice in fact she was bratty . To teach her a lesson and to try to get her to mend her ways , her parents took away her car credit cards etc , but bratty rebellious Harper just took off , now she finds herself in dire straights . Although her parents knew they had to do something to get to change her obnoxious attitude , they didn’t expect her to go missing . It was Christmas Eve sick with worry her family turned to their very close friends the Coulters ,and although Harper had been horrible to him over the years Blake volunteered to search for her as secretly he had a crush on her . He found her in a homeless shelter ,but what he also found was a very much changed Harper . As it was snowing heavily they couldn’t fly home so they had a room for the night in a run down motel , Blake was surprised the attraction he felt was mutual but as Harper was a virgin , he tried to fight his feelings but one thing led to another and they spent a very hot & steamy Christmas Eve together and flew home the next day . It soon became apparent that Harper obviously thought she had been with the elder twin, Marcus , Blake did try to explain but after Harper witnessed Marcus & his girlfriend in a PDA she wouldn’t listen . Twelve years later Harper has cause to contact Marcus as her sister Dancia has been kidnapped although Marcus is a very successful businessman he also leads a double life . Can he get to Dancia in time and will the mix up be sorted out so Harper & Blake can get their HEA . ...... No sorry no spoilers there as to what happens next , but they’re emotional times ahead for them . Can’t wait to read book 11 😉.

This séries of the Billionaire brothers just keeps getting better and better and have already preordered the last in thé series. The stories are written so well that you feel that you are actually in the story yourself observing on the sidelines. This story starts with a misconception as in the identifiant twins, Marcus and Blake often changed places with each other, either for enjoyment or necessity. But this time it backfired on them because Blakes Mother had asked him to go.and find their families friends brat of à daughter, who had gone missing when her parents took her credit cards and car away from her and she just up and left on a very cold Chistmas week. After finding her in a homeless shelter and being held up from flying his chopper back home as the weather parsemés, they had to stay the night in a nearby motel. Blake was taken aback to how much Harper had changed in a short time that he had seen her last and the reason was the amount of niveleuse people who had literally nothing, no home and no money and that she had given her jewelery to a family who had nothing. It really shocked her to see so many homeless people that it completely changed her outlook and made her determined that she would go to college and help these people anyway she could and which made Blake see Harper in a different light. Being close to her at the motel huddled on the only bed trying to keepwarm had an effect on Blake and Harper also and the inevitable happened and as one says, history is written, with à twist. Bcause, Harper thinks it was Marcus she had sex with and not Blake. But as one knows, no two people are exactly the dame make up in their personna. Twelve years down the line when Harper wants Marcus's help to find her missing sister, presumed captured by terrorists in Iraq whilst writing for a leading newspaper on the war from the Turkish border but had gone into Iraq to find some missionaries children which she n.m. saved but was caught herself and was tortures and beaten. Soa speed to get her out quickly was imperative as their videno shows her beaten face on camera. Her captors want one of their terrorist freed or they threaten to kill her if they don't comply. Marcus, who once worked for the CIA, gathered à group to extract Dani from capture, including his hélicoptère pilot, Tate. Meanwhile, Harper is staying on the Colter families business holiday park and close to Blake who is madly.in love.with Harper and her with him,but she thinks he is Marcus until he has tocome clean and tell her that he is Blake and Marcus has gone tous get Dani back, which he does.and is recovering in a Turkish hospital under the close eye of Marcus until she is enough to travel to DC for a briefing with thé people in authority, as this mission was not sanctioned by them but by friends of her family. With her both parents it was the only course of action. Meanwhile, back home Blake finds out that Harper was pregnant agréé losing her Virginity to, so she thought was Marcus and seeing him waspregnant is enough to.lose faith in all males full stop..

I love these stories, I always know I will get something special that I can lose myself in the reading. I already knew Blake was a special guy from previous books, he is a senator who cares about the people who vote for him and for the things he is standing in support of. But he is also strongly supportive of his siblings and mother, especially his twin. He has a big heart but it only belongs to one woman and has for 12 years, he never thinks though that he will get her. This brought a smile to my face when all was going well but also a frown when it wasn't, written in a way to bring out all sorts of emotions and get you invested in the whole story. I love how the families all seem to connect up somewhere along the way and make a larger family, all supportive of each other and stepping in to help when needed. This reminds me of the original romance stories, all the elements are there but much meatier now with the sexual content that was only a mention in older books of this genre. All of which is what draws me to them and keeps me coming back for more.

Harper meets a Coulter brother in her younger years, and she has the best night of her life. She believes that she has given herself to Marcus, when it was Blake that had actually taken her breath away. Misunderstandings stop them from getting together for twelve years. Neither of them have ever wanted anyone else. Will they end up together in the end and find the love that they've both been looking for?

Just before christmas i downloaded the free teaser book The Billionaire's Christmas Virgin and i was hooked. i pre ordered Billionaire unknown and i read it in one go today. once i started to read i couldnt put it down. I love this series and the story of Blake is J.S. Scott at her best. Filled with love, romance, hot steamy sex and characters you fall in love with and root for from start to finish.Blake is every bit a colter. Strong, charming and alpha just like all of JS male leads. He has a gentler side to him that is sweet and endearing however this does not take away from his appeal. He is SMOKING HOT!!!Harper is strong caring and nothing like the bratty teenager she once was. She would do anything for her family. Harper has to face her past so that she can help her sister. Little does she know that a massive misunderstanding has happened and when she learns the truth she realises nothing is as it seems.The flow of the story is fast paced i felt like i didnt take a breath from start to finishI highly reccommend this book
