Great initial fit, comfort, and styling! Impressed!
Great initial impression! I don’t usually write reviews when the product is new. But these shoes impress a lot out of the box. The comfort, fit, and styling are first class at this price point. I am a 25-year Saucony running shoe fan and this is my first pair of “trail running” shoes. I live in the Smoky Mountains and enjoy jogs / hikes in the woods and mountains a lot so I thought I would try this style of running shoe. I’ve only been wearing these a few days, so no comments on long term durability. But the comfort and fit out if the box is excellent and noteworthy. Another little touch I love is the laces. They are of a material blend that makes them stay tied well. In fact, when you go to untie them they do not slip through the laces easily. These things stay tied indefinitely and I love that in a trail running shoe. I also like the aggressive lug pattern on the soles. Will update my review six months in… but so far a big fan!

My Third Pair!
I have tried the Excursion TR13's, TR14's, TR15's and TR17's. I returned the TR14's and TR17's. The TR14's I felt weren't of the best quality for being Sauconys. The TR17's I returned due to them running a bit small. The TR13's I kept, but they needed a bit of breaking in (which was a bit of a surprise). The TR15's fit me perfect every time (size 8 1/2) and they seem to be the highest quality and most comfortable of all. This is my third pair of the Black Shadow (I actually have a pair in the closet "on reserve"). The color and design is stylish enough to pass for work shoes in the office. They also look great with jeans/casual attire and aren't too obvious an "athletic shoe". It may be personal preference, but what can I say? PS: I should add that I also have a pair of the TR15 Alloy/Scarlet. These are comfy and look great too.

Super lightweight shoe, very comfortable, good traction. Interesting wear
Last Update 03/25: These shoes have lasted a long time, yes the heal in one shoe failed early and the heal in the other failed sometime later, but the souls, the show itself are still solid. Seriously it's what 3/2025 so 2+ years of hard disc golf, hiking use and really only the interior heal failed, not bad actually. Annoying when it happened, but the fact that the rest of the shoe is in still great shape, that's something. I've replaced them with another pair! Update 11/23: The interior heal area of my left shoe has ripped. That is roughly 4 months of use, mainly playing disc golf as I’m a flip flop/barefoot guy the other 99% of the time. Company states they don’t have a warranty when bought through Amazon, and in reality they don’t have a set warranty, they take them on a case by case, that’s only if you buy direct, what??? Original review 4 stars. I bought these as I needed another pair of non waterproof shoes for disc golf. These have great traction, they feel comfortable and are really light. Now, I did walk through 2 sticker bushes the other day and had a sticker in my front toe (from the top), so they probably are not ideal for off path hikes, but for on path hikes and disc golf, they seem great. My last pair of different shoes, gave me about a year before the soles at the toes wore down, so if I can get a year out of these, they will be an awesome warm weather shoe for sure. As always, i'll come back and update this if anything changes.

Excellent
Phenomenal! Comfortable from the first moment I put them on, already felt broken in. Extremely ventilated to keep your feet cool, rugged bottoms for light hiking, and great design. Fair price and fast shipping, would actually buy again. Highly recommended

Great outdoor shoe!
Great Shoe. Bought these for working around the house/yard. Fit very well. Size 10. Good traction for walking up and down slippery hill. Looks great. The gray fabric on the side looks a little cheap if you intend to wear as casual shoes, but otherwise great.

Durable all around good shoe but SLIPPERY on wet surfaces
Solid, semi-firm ride for long distance trail running and some road. Built sturdy and protective without being clunky and they fit nicely. They remind me of shoes i would run 100 mile trail races in 20 years ago that back then were usually the best available in running stores. These days i could find much better but would have to spend three times the price and since i no longer run stupid long distances it wouldn't make sense. The only downside is a lack of traction on wet surfaces. At $51 they are a bargain if you run on dry surfaces.

Great for uneven trail. It is slippery on a smooth wet surface.

Paket war überraschend schnell geliefert. Der Schuh hat eine sehr gute Passform. Größe 44 bei Saucony passt mir immer. Trage in meinen normalen Schuhen Größe 43. Bei Saucony eine Nummer größer und alles ist Bestens. Bequem und griffig im Gelände. Hier passt Preis / Leistung. Kann den Schuh nur weiter empfehlen.

Los mejores tenis que he tenido.... Enfocado en la función de ser resistente y cómodo, sin dejar de tener un buen diseño. 3 años me duraron los anteriores... Un uso de casi diario.
