Does not maintain vacuum.
These are well made from quality plastic and with good clip-lock seals on all sides. However, the main reason I bought these was because of their vacuum capability - something they do not deliver on.I filled a container up with biscuits and gave it a light pump to remove the air. But 24 hours later, there was no vacuum present (indicated by nothing happening when you press the release valve).Thinking it may have been that I didn't pumped enough air out and create a strong enough vacuum to seal around the edges of the container, I went for it this time, up to the point where the container lid was visibly caving under the vacuum and I could here no more air being expelled.I came back an hour later - no vacuum. I tried the same with all the other containers and only one managed to maintain the vacuum after 24 hours.Net result, they are going back as they are not doing what they are supposed to.

A good idea but needs to go back to the drawing board
After only using the containers a few times found that the lids become distorted even before washing them.Could not clip all fasteners on one of the lids on the small container, and found it also became difficult to apply Lids to the tubs after using the pump on them a few times. The pump is weak to use and you tend to pump it rapidly hence I have caught my fingers between the handle and its body several times. They are a great idea but I'm afraid they need to go back to the drawing board and improve on the design so that the containers do not distort so badly after removing the air.I was originally looking for a large vacuum bags to use with my freshly baked bread but only found extremely large vacuum bags for bedding then I found these??

Sturdy
Wasn't sure about ordering these as they didn't have many reviews and I tend to be a buyer that goes for tried, tested and reviewed products. They arrived quickly and were as described. A pump to remove the air was included and the lids all seemed to fit novelty on the containers.I use mine primarily for coffee storage so can't comment on how water tight they are but the three boxes I have used thus far are still novelty air tight a week after trading the air out.I'm pleased with the products and will update if I find that they start to lose their seals etc.Plastic used seems to be of equal quality in terms of thickness and rigidity to what you'd get on the High Street. They are clear plastic and apparently suitable for microwaves and dishwashers.

Vacuum or no vacuum; that is the question.
3 of the 4 seem to work OK. The 4th however, doesn't hold vacuum for more than a couple of hours. Also the buckles on the faulty one release as the seal is compressed when vacuum applied, probably why it leaks. Also there is no way of knowing whether the vacuum is retained other than releasing some air. Other versions, (albeit more expensive), have a tell-tale on the lid which allow you to see at a glance.Until I have more confidence in the integrity of the seals I'll probably use these for short term storage.

Loses seal after 1 wash
A quick dip before using them to wash off the residue and all was going great until The first real wash and the seal no longer seals. Air escapes very slowly overnight. I was even being very delicate around the seal when washing. Binned and back to the normal air tight containers as these aren't even air tight no more.
