Love these retainers!

Very easy to put in and long enough to go all the way through my piercing hole. I needed a way to keep my piercing without having jewelry in my nose for my nursing classes and these are very inconspicuous. The head is small enough to go unnoticed at a glance and the length and depth of the stud is very nice. Hurts a little to take out (just tight) but doesn't cause bleeding or infection transferring between this and my stud ring. Great quality with a great price!

Feels a bit tight going in but stays in place and isn't noticeable. My job doesn't allow piercings and I really didn't want my piercing to close so this was great

Pros:*Lots of them for a great price.Cons:*Doesn’t work very well to HIDE a piercing.My daughter goes to a private parochial school with a very strict dress code and needed to keep her nose piercing on the down low. Yeah... not so much with these particular “clear” nose plugs.The head is more of a stud than actually flat. I mean, it’s flat, but not flush with the skin flat. More like small ball with a flat top to it.*Indoors, they are pretty unnoticeable but in the sun, they turn kind of blue-ish, almost iridescent. And fairly conspicuous.Several of her teachers noticed and warned her on day one of school. They actually thought it was a normal plastic stud nose ring... So unfortunately it was too noticeable and my daughter will have to take out her piercing altogether and have it redone next summer when she graduates from her school. : ( Ouch.In conclusion:I would say that if you need to occasionally take out your every day nose ring and have a placeholder that isn’t too conspicuous and have plenty of backups if you happen to lose one (or quite a few) this would be great. From a two or 3 foot distance, you probably wouldn’t notice it. But for every day use such as school or work, I don’t know if this is your best bet for “hiding” a nose piercing.Note: Images taken outside in open shade.
