Nova Maple Cream - Pure Grade-A Maple Cream Butter Spread (1 Pound)

We recently toured eastern Canada and were introduced to maple cream. This stuff is delicious and we were so happy to find a source for this on Amazon. Nova's product is as good as any we tried while in Canada and this is a large jar making it a good value. I looked into making maple cream myself but the process is very precise and not easily duplicated so I appreciate being able to purchase a high quality product.

I didn’t have the same issue as some with leaking during transit. Mine came in tact and the quality and quantity is spot on! Absolutely 100% natural and delicious. 😋. That said I don’t see that it’s fair to leave a negative review for the product when the carrier was the issue. I will say there is no protection in the way of bubble wrap or anything in the package/envelope…..SO props to my Amazon driver as it was handled with care. Great alternative to cane sugar or chemicals as a sweetener….

When I first opened the container,it appeared to be about 1/3 empty, so I thought I was ripped off. But after weighing the container, it happens to be 466 grams, which is about 1.03 pounds. So I guess it's not as empty as it looks. If the container was full, it would probably weigh 1.3 pounds. This product is pretty good value, even by Canadian standards (I'm Canadian and this is about what we pay). The flavour is pretty good, it appears to come from a darker amber which is nice. It's softer than usual, so it won't become a rock in the refrigerator (this is usually what happened to most maple butters). The only problem is that there are quite a few crystals in this. It's almost like it's crunchy. It's not a big deal, I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. It's nice to see that a smaller family farm can compete price-wise.

Excellent Maple Butter. Sometimes it needs stirred up and its a little bit thinner,richer tasting and darker color than other brands. Taste great on many different foods especially breakfast foods and especially good in oatmeal.

It tastes amazing, like maple frosting. So good. I got lucky, looks like golden cream of the tree gods. I just wish it were organic.

This was such a disappointment. I've had quite a few brands of maple cream, which have all been lovely, but this was terrible. It has such a burnt flavour and is almost orange. I'm upset that I can't return it as it has been such a waste of money. Look elsewhere for your maple butter.
