I didn’t open the box since this was a gift so I can’t say anything about the actual puzzle. The picture looks interesting though

I did not check the dimensions of this puzzle prior to ordering it, and it was way smaller than I expected it to be based on the picture provided by Amazon. The puzzle is about 9.5 inches in length (see picture). The puzzle is high-quality and seems like it will last a long time. It also comes with a very nice and cute tin container for easy storing. You could easily take this puzzle on a trip and not worry about it getting ruined. It could even be used as a stocking stuffer or in an Easter basket. Because of it's small size, I feel that the price is a bit high; however, I know that you are automatically going to be paying more for a Thomas the Train item, similar to other popular shows/characters. I bought it for my son's 4th birthday, and I think he will love it even though it is a more challenging puzzle than he's used to. The puzzle comes with a little map, and it also has numbers on the back of it to assist in putting the pieces together if needed.

I got this for my 5 year old- it took him about 5 minutes. So pretty easy. But the pieces are thick and the backs are numbered so you can actually do the puzzle without looking at the picture. The tin for storage is nice and small- good for traveling.
