LoveRPi Raspberry Pi 3 Media Center Case - Black

Bought two of these and they fit the Pi3 perfectly! Nice and sleek with tight fitting screws. Love these!

I put my Raspberry Pi 3 in this case. At first, it was okay. Then I noticed a slowdown in performace. Checked the temperature of my RPi and it was at 70C! I ended up drilling out two holes to hold a fan, and a center hole about 1" in diameter in order to get sufficient air flow into this case. Once I did, the temperature went back down to around 35C, like the Media Pi case had. The other issue with this case I had is that the screws stripped fairly easily, and the heads of screws got messed up in a short time. This should definitely be a case where you install the Pi in the case ONCE and NEVER open it again....Sad to say, I'm disappointed with this case. It's not worth sending it back, as it was only a $5 case.

I really liked this case. Nice and sleek and hides the GPIO pins which I don't use. Like how it screws together to make it a nice little media center unit

Compared to the Enokay Pi cases we previously ordered, the plastic is lower quality and the screws much lower quality. In the first two of these cases we tried to assemble with pis, the screws all stripped, and there was some leftover plastic from poor casting on the black casing.

Case is about as basic as it gets. Looks like a small PS3. It's sturdy and reliable but obviously mass produced. The price is kind of high for what you get but if you need just a single case it's a great way to go. You wont have overheating issues with the case unless you're working in extreme environments or overclocking.

This will be perfect for attaching my media center to the back on my TV {with Velcro}. Case fits well but does take a little messing with to get the Pi 3 in. Not a deal breaker.
