Wow! Great product for the price. They work well and we're very easy to install. There is not much in the way of instructions but these are universal and every car is diffrent. If ypu have som knowledge of automotive wireing and a computer to look up your cars wiring diagrams you will be fine. It took me about 1 hour on my 06 Silverado to install, wire and test the unit. It took another 15 mins to hide the wireing and button everything up.

I have finally been able to install these locks in my 1988 Jeep XJ. For my set up it worked and the install wasn't terrible at all. The down side with that though is I am picky and I like clean work, the wires were tangled in some areas that made the wires buch up and not come out from their connection points neatly. I personally feel that these wires should also be laid out differently as well which in reality would cause less resistance on the actuators. The driver side rear also carries the passenger side rear with it. With that said you can tell a difference on the drag for the passenger side rear, if the system was designed that each door had its own set if wires I think it would have made for a better set up and if the design was more based off the center of the vehicle it would have been a better as well. It is driver side heavy and the passenger rear will need to go under your carpet instead of running through the trim causing for potential issues down the road. The instructions are a bit broken English but it worked, it is rather self explanatory. The unit that sends the signals to each door is rather load and makes loud clicking noices when engaged. I do believe that is because it has a built in flasher that is designed to strobe your lights when you lock and un lock it. For the money it was well worth it as long as it holds up. The actuators feel plasticy and not as stout as OEM. I am happy with this system and I hope for good results with longevity. I would buy it again if I needed it for another vehicle. The price is right and it works.

The door locks work well. I had an issue with the receiver and the company was quick to respond and resolve the problem. I think this kit is a good value and I would buy from Geevorks again based on my experience with their customer service.

Great kit, installed on my 88 Porsche 924s needed to extend wires for the doors due to being a two door. rear hatch works with a extra relay. verry happy thanks

I wasn’t expecting such a trouble free experience or the clever adaptation hardware - particularly the clamp-like couplers used to attach to the actuators to the lock linkage. I went into this fully expecting to have to do a little fabricating (I honestly kind of enjoy a challenge), but no! It took me longer to disassemble my doors and manage my new cabling than it did to do the actual install of the kit!! For my purposes, this was an absolutely stellar purchase. Things to note: 1. This unit uses a simple fixed frequency remote/signal; it’s pretty trivial to “hack” since it doesn’t use rotating signals like a modern OEM system will. 2. There is a “master” or “controller” lock that when locked manually (moving the lock up or down with your hand without the remote) will lock/unlock all other doors. I like this feature a lot, but it wasn’t mentioned in the product page.

Installed on my 1972 Pontiac LeMans. Even works with the factory electric trunk release. Wired it into the signal lights and the daytime running lights I added. I included a wiring diagram I used, depending on your skill you may want someone qualified to do the install as not to damage your electrical system. I laid out in the wiring diagram how to get it to work with a relay to unlock the trunk including a picture of a standard relay I also found on Amazon for just a few dollars. Additional, in the door screenshot, I include the approximate mounting location and guides to help locate the opener your typical GM 1970-1972. As the LeMans only has two doors, I cut 2 of the 4 openers out that were on their own leads.
