Very nicely made and easy to use but always check the film speed as this can be nudged
This seems a very nicely made meter and is good value, costing less than most are asking for a used Voigtlander VC-2 meter (no longer made), which I am guessing the TT Artisans meter is based on. As others have pointed out it is quite easy to accidentally change the film speed so always worth checking this regularly. The meter is very accurate, when I cross checked it against my large professional Polaris spot meter, at a variety of different light levels and distances.

Great product with a small flaw
Perfect for my use - and appears to be very accurate. Just one downside. The Film Speed Dial is too easy to dislodge. Needs constant checking that it hasn't moved while on a shoot.

Small and handy reflected light meter
This is a cold or hot shoe mounted reflected light meter. It is surprisingly accurate, to within half a stop on my Minolta spot meter. It has an auto standby and an auto off function built in, uses readily available CR2032 cells. My only gripe is that the shoe mount can be a bit loose on some vintage cameras, there is no spring pressure to hold it into the shoe. I have rectified this by using tiny strips of plastic tape on the underside of the shoe bracket, but TTArtisans should have thought of this at the design stage. For that reason only I give this 4 stars, if they had sorted it my rating would be 5 stars.

Perfection in a small package
I took a chance on this and have been pleasantly surprised.Readings are exactly the same as those from my demonic meters but this is a much neater solution fitting perfectly on the cold shoe of my Leica M2 as well as the hot shoe of my M10.I can't find fault with this little meter though there are a couple of gripes: 1-Aperture dial isn't click stopped.2-Fiddly to insert battery. Please note you need to buy a pack of CR2032 batteries when purchasing this meter as none come with it.

Fatally flawed
The ISO dial is too slack and moves far too easily. I returned mine because of this. It spoils an otherwise excellent product. Having to check the position of the ISO dial every time you lift the camera to your eye is a real nuisance. Simple click stops would prevent this happening. Shame.

Cheap but hard to use
I bought this clip on meter in silver to match my camera. The immediate problem which was obvious when I got it out of the box is that the markings in black on the silver are so so small and discrete they are very hard to read. I would think nearly impossible in poor light. The second problem is that the item is supplied without any battery and therefore will not work. This is unacceptable. It is made worse by the fact that the battery is a CR1622 which is an obscure size that is quite hard to find in the shops. I went to my local dealer and they didn't have it. Amazon of course do, so I have been forced to spend another £5 or so with them to get batteries to get the product working. I think this is unacceptable marketing and hence my rating of 2.

Accurate and convenient
This light meter fits nicely on the hot shoe of my Bronica ETRS speed grip and is convenient and accurate in use. The only negative is the ISO dial is easily moved and I have check it each time I thanks my camera out of my bag and each time I take a photo as most times it will need to be reset.

Accurate
Well built and accurate with easy to use controls the only criticism is the cold shoe mount is too wide for some of my very old cameras so needs filing down.
