Used this to route wires through the firewall hole near the foot pedal. Works perfectly and I now have piece of mind that water isn't getting in. No brainer...if you route wires through the firewall in that location you need these. Even if you cut your own hole these will work great. I do wish they sold them individually but I now have some spares. The material feels great...not too spoongy or to stiff. Easy to work with and it can be modified to take larger cables.

I needed to run some heavy gauge wire into my cab for my dc-to-dc charge controller and wanted something neat and water resistant. I found that GM left a perfect spot for installing this. I used a step bit and drilled the proper size hole(1-1/4”), filed the burrs and slipped this in. I cut the end for the size hole I needed for my wires and ran them through. I seem to recall reading some complaints about them being stiff. I did not find that to be the case.I am very pleased with the results. And I have plenty room if I ever need to run more wires.

I am restoring a classic pickup truck and use these to protect the new harness as it passed through the firewall. Very happy with it and have zero complaints.

Works to protect wires going through metal. Firewall or other. User trimmable to the right size. Rubber could be thicker but it works for the price
