Love the cross back design and durability

I'm a silversmith, so I work with some mild chemicals that may eat through some regular clothing if it comes in contact with them. NONE of that with this apron! The fabric is a heavy duty, easy to wash, canvas in a great dark purple. The main reason I ordered from this company was the fact that the apron has tons of handy, and different sized pockets. They hold lots of tools... and the lower pocket is good for draping a small towel from for drying my silver creations after washing them. Cuts back on paper towel usage!

I bought this apron for my son as a gift. He is young and I've been teaching him how to grill several different things. He has really improved and made some wonderful grilled items. This apron has been a gift he has treasured and is sure to use any time he is out grilling. I bought the black apron for him and the brown apron for me so we could keep them straight.

I didn't resived the straps only apron

This is a great looking and feeling apron and I’m a professional pastry chef and that being said I actually bought it for my woodworking hobby. I can’t see myself wearing an apron like this in a kitchen environment. First it would be a nightmare to keep this clean and I’m sure if washed too many times it would alter the look or maybe fall apart. Probably wash and care for like denim. Second it’s too heavy to wear all day when your on your feet for 12 hours a day but the good thing is the weight doesn’t rest all on your neck but your shoulders. I’m someone who likes to start my day in the kitchen with clean whites, an apron and towels to use only for daily use. I recommend but not for the professional kitchen but maybe good for the home.
