A worthwhile book for anyway planning on taking the CSWA exam. The topics are well organized and the exercises are designed to improve competencies. I would recommend this book and have ordered the author's new edition of the CSWP Guide.

How to prep for the CWSA

Useful, but could be better
Bought the e-book from playstore. It has very useful information about how to prepare yourself for the CSWA Exam. On the other hand, drawing quality is quite poor, dimensions are not easily readable, and you will need to waste your time opening the SW files in order to find out some unclear dimensions.Some instruction for creating the drawings are not detailed and the origin of the solids is not clear at all. That is why sometimes you get different results form those written in the books, specially for the centroid.

Lots of great practice. I just passed the CSWA exam, using this as a practice book. Lots of great little exercises.

El libro tiene información importante acerca del formato, preguntas y ejercicios para modelar piezas de exámenes pasados. Trae buenos tips y ejemplos para que practiques y te sientas seguro en el examen de certificación. Ten en cuenta que solo es una guía, no te va a enseñar a usar Solidworks.

Good book to practice CSWA Exam
Good book to practice CSWA Exam. Explained everything What exam comprises of and how exam is conducted. Good enough practice material. Paper quality is OK All black and white.Directions given to create parts and assemblies are not very good. They should have used number system to indicate planes and parts instead of telling middle and back plane , how come I'll know which plane you're referring too. Sometimes it involves guesswork. Pics of some parts are poor. It's hard to extract all the info and dimensions needed to create that part.

Si tu intención es presentarte al CSWA de Solidworks, cómprate este libro.Eso sí, para poder aprovecharlo al máximo tienes que tener un nivel mínimo con el programa.
