BFR Bands! Blood Occlusion Training! Check it out!
The BFR Bands are absolutely incredible!!! I have not experienced pumps like this ever! I have taken every pre workout supplement under the sun, this is a while other level! I did a little research on the bands and gained some understanding as to what they do and how it can benefit my training routine. They work to restrict the venous blood flow from the muscle. This creates a hold of blood to the muscle. We all know, more blood and greater sense of hypertrophy, equals size and strength gains. Not only do these bands work to restrict the blood flow out and create the incredible pump effect; they also play a neurological role in what they do. These bands essentially trick ur brain into thinking that your muscles are lifting heavier and harder and experiencing a greater work load. Hence forcing that hypertrophy without the heavy lifting. I have trained using these bands several times now, having warn them on my arms for chest, back and arms/shoulder workouts. I have also recently tried them on leg day. I must say that the quad pump I had, was like feeling cement in my legs! The quality of the bands are sturdy, strong and durable. Adjusting the tension is easy, applying them is easy too. As far as comfort goes; The material is strong and tough, comfort is not a 10, but def not uncomfortable. They stay in place and don’t shift. As far as the excess Of the strap once tightened down, it can be tucked into the strap. It again isn’t the most comfortable method, but does work and they do stay in place. I didn’t purchase these for looks and comfort, I purchased them for the application. The BFR Bands have definitely exceeded my expectations as far as use is concerned! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to increase strength and or size, looking to change up their routine, or beginners who cannot lift heavy weight. They’re application can benefit a plethora of fitness levels.

Noticeable difference in my 17 inch biceps with these.
Out of the box I was confused on how to set them up but they come with instructions thankfully. They can fit a variety of people and provide great resistance no matter how big or small your bicep is. I feel and see a difference after about 2 weeks of consistent workout. Its a nice color and is very portable to take on trips to the gym. They don't slip at all which is a surprise for me with the other bands I have used. These work great and they come with many benefits so yes I recommend for price and quality!

Good restrictive armbands
I use these on my arms when I was lifting they did a great job at restricting the blood flow. Great for building upper body strength. Easy to figure out how to work them correctly. They can stretch quite a bit and will fit most people's arms. I didn't have any issues with them slipping they stayed put pretty well and tight. Worth the price

Great products, community, and efficiency!
Great shipping and great communication with the company. The bands tighten super easily and are very readily adjustable and quick to take off. I ordered these bands because I wanted to increase hypertrophy, as I have been lifting for a few years now and have started to plateau and see minimal strength gains, I figured they would be a good way to change up my routine and give my body new challenges. I've been using them for a few weeks now, off and on, and I can definitely start to notice small changes in my physique. These bands are helpful for focusing your workouts more on training your muscles and increasing hypertrophy as opposed to just moving weight. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to change up your routine or get to the next level of performance. The BFR team is very responsive and takes great care of any of their customers' concerns, they are always looking for constructive feedback as a team to make their consumers the best products on the market. I highly endorse their professionalism and knowledge about blood flow restriction and you as a consumer will not only be making an intelligent choice by purchasing a piece of equipment for you but you're fueling and investing in a team that has a lot of potential.

You'll need to get creative...
The Bands are working pretty well. I tried to incorporate them into my bodybuilding style workouts in several ways: 1) Apply at the beginning of workout and train with ~20-50% 1RM for approx 45 mins. Normal workout routines. 2) warm up with bands (10 mins, 2-3 exercises) then do regular workout. 3) do regular sets then use bands for last 10 mins of workout for Isolation training with low mass/high rep counts. I found that they work best for me with option 3. I only use them at the end of my set for about 10-15 mins of iso workouts for biceps or triceps. I have noticed a slight increase in strength and size, but I've only been using them for a couple weeks. I have noticed that there are many ways one could use the straps and there are no directions for how to actually 'thread' the strap through the buckle. You have to get creative. I've tried about 3-4 configurations, and seem to have found one that was Ok for the first few times. Now they are a bit more difficult to tighten to that 'level 7' of compression. I'll keep using them for my arms to supplement my normal bodybuilder-style workouts, but have found them to be not so useful on chest or back days (for anything other than getting a pump in bi's and tri's). My bench had increased but it is due to the auxiliary muscle groups (triceps in this case) becoming stronger. I prefer to use knee wraps for occlusion on leg days and have found a significant increase in strength and definition as well as recovery. The buckle is kinda bulky and is not exactly an ergonomic design for this application. If they could streamline it a bit more and include some pics for best options to thread the strap through the buckle, it would be more helpful. It seems like a very simple ideas, right? I have a BS is Physics and it took me a few tries to find a pattern that was most suitable. I do not believe that this is user-error, but I guess I could be wrong.

Incomplete, hard to use.
Only a very sketchy sketch on here for how to put them on. I'm a personal trainer with a degree, and I'm not super-dumb, but I can't tell exactly how they expect you to thread the strap. Nearly impossible to tighten alone, but then again, do I have it on right? The clip was also pinching. The piece of paper it comes with that could've had instructions, instead has links. Out of three links only two are for your edification. One is for their "shop." Go ahead, guess which two links out of the three came up with a "404 not found?" If you guessed the two that were for learning how to use the product or get a free ebook, ding! you won! So no instructions, no free ebook, and a plastic clip that I didn't notice in reviews keeps breaking on people. Ordered bands using only a metal ring and velcro instead of a plastic clip that has to be clamped down. It included short arm bands and longer leg bands, which was really priced at about two sets of these. Since I can't say names, it's the ones with two yellow stripes. Used them this morning, were easy to tighten, could tell the difference after the first set, and I was so pumped after the workout even my no-workout friend could see how crazy the pump was. I'm already convinced BFR works, just make sure the straps you pick are easy on and off and do their job, or send them back and get better ones.
