Absolutely ear splitting alarm
This will wake up any household. And possible your neighbors.In order to have this in my bedroom,I put mine on an extension cord and put the device in a plastic jar. Modified the lid for the cord to go through. Now it's about as loud as the ring on my cell phone set at 70%. Otherwise it's a heart failure producing screeching siren.Absolutely get this if you must be notified of a power interruption in your home.

Works exactly as said online
Arrived quickly. We tested it by putting it on a power bar then shutting it off. We bought it due to heavy rains in our area to warn us when power goes out. sump pump runs on power so good warning. Put one upstairs and one downstairsGreat purchase

Too bulky, too loud
This might be great for industrial use in a big, loud area. I installed this into a small bathroom and it was far too loud, like a smoke alarm. It also is very large in the outlet, it covered the GFCI test and reset buttons. Not aesthetically pleasing, too industrial for my use case. No problem with the functionality, it works well but just seemed like overkill for my domestic use case.

these are easy to operate,work when power goes out and will awaken any one who is not completely deaf.if you are out side you still will hear them! just what you need if it is critical you know power is off!

Very good alert alarm!
The LOUD alarm is appreciated as it is plugged into an outlet used by a refrigerator in the basement. I can hear the alarm on main floor level. I like it!
