There is a QR code on the side of the bulb - we kept trying to use the one on the instructions. Once we figured that out, installation was a snap. The picture is clear and sharp and it works great, day and night.

Ok, here is a update to my post earlier as it has now been about two months. And While I set this up on a floor lamp since it was close to the internet Wi-Fi and the comfort of my couch as I was hoping not to have a bad experience as some have in their review. So I deleted the review of how easy it was to connect and use, but after two months I realized that finding a exterior fixture with no obstruction is not so easy!!! And right away the app now starts to stated to purchase a monthly plan! I was no way going to do that and more so now! you see they make controlling the camera with the app like crap! they now have advertisement every single time I log in that states to improve movement and camera vid ability you have to sign up for a monthly service! Well I say BS if I knew they know damn well that the app is limited and causes such that you can’t move camera correctly to pan an area they they are screwing their customers over!! There is no other explanation to cause choppy movement and lower quality of camera when they know it is on purposely being manipulated..If you just want a indoor camera as I have been using in my two story house to monitor the dogs and cats.. Then get them but Right now they suck, and I recommend that you find a camera on a different provider or different app to set this type of camera up!! Then scanned the QR code in the instructions it loaded the app needed and the app put up another QR code on the screen of my iPhone, I walked over and placed the iPhone screen in the view of the camera, and they instantly connected. It did try and get me to pay a monthly service but clicked no and got back to the setup screen and completed the setup. I do wish they would not offer service until it is totally complete as that may be the point where people assume it doesn't work without getting a paid service. Other than that, it was quick and easy. I did try the light which I don't care if it had one or not but in a well-lit room the light didn't seem very bright, but late-night maybe? So adding to my earlier review I dropped it to 3 stars and here is why when using your Wifi if bull goes beyond the signal it turns off and you have to start all over. the screen pan is bad most of the time it turns so fast and beyond control, & sometimes it does move at all… the bulb camera i had to use a lamp to set it up so you have to flip the camera in settings 180 degrees so you can see images! So now after it is all set up I wanted to move outside well current light fixture has frosted glass camera can see through so I purchased new ones, but it is beyond wifi.. So since I am an electrician I was going to add a electrical box to side of house to see front but house corner would block 90% of camera view! so I took my table lamp connected it to an extension cord moved lamp until I could figure out where camera would still see wifi and more of front of house.

I like how they rotate and scan the yard. They are still working great after it has rained on them several times! Play Back videos are nice as well! The quality is great! Money well spent that’s for sure!

The camera takes great pictures. However any sounds I had hoped to hear along with the great video was a huge bust! Both cameras sound like someone is speaking through water. I have it at my front and back doors and they replaced my porch lights. So it's really disappointed also that the lights are very dim making it difficult seeing how to put my key in the door. Otherwise they work great. The night vision is crystal clear as is the regular daylight. It even catches the wildlife in my yard with it's superb motion detection. Best part is all I had to do was twist it into the socket, let the camera "see" the code on my phone and in less than 90 seconds or was up and running. If the other two issues weren't there I'd give them 5 stars

These cameras were placed in our mountain home to keep an eye on the property while away.The video quality and install were way better than I expected for the price. However, I did have minor technical difficulties connecting to the 5G wifi as not all products work with all internet speeds.The full range camera beats the heck out of the single angle Ring we have set up in our primary home. It's interactive feature actually makes it fun to use.Motion detection is a bit sensitive. Even moving tree branch shadows make it go on. But I'd rather have that than miss anything.The price for cloud storage is comparable to the Ring.Overall, I'm now recommending this product over the Ring. No joke.December 2022 Update:One of the cameras went offline. I've tried unsuccessfully to reboot. So it may just be a casualty of the cold wet weather elements. I wasn't sure if they had a warranty, so I just went ahead a bought a replacement. Let's see if these turn out to be disposable.

Not enough space for all I would like to say. One good thing - it does provide a clear/sharp image of your view. If only using to view (not detect/record) then it is good. P.S. interfering pop-up Ads galore to purchasing their cloud service (extremely irritating).

We bought the 2 pack, one worked the other did not set up. The seller sent us a replacement camera, which also would not set up. The one that worked, stopped turning around & would only do up and down. Otherwise, the motion sensor is great. The night vision is great. The fact that I didn't have to replace batteries was even better. The seller was easy to deal with and was quick to accommodate your issues. So while the camera itself was not great, the seller was fantastic.

I had high hopes for this camera. Those were quickly dashed. The camera wouldn't pair with my wifi unless it was right next to it. The image quality at night (when I need it most) is poor. With motion tracking on, the camera keeps turning away from where I pointed it until it is facing the wall and can't see anything. Finally, you can't see a still image from a motion alert or use an SD card for video, instead they overlay the image with an ad for their cloud service. If I could return these cameras, I would.
