Well made product sounds great could do with 3.5 to usbc cable in box and maybe a cheap case similar to other Mike's in this class and price range

First on camera mic bought. So far it’s great and a major improvement over the in camera mics. Simple to set up and use via the phone app. Used alone side the ride wireless pro set up. Mixing using Davinci resolve with no issues

It is a video mic but I use it as a usb-c mic. It may not be the best use case, as it can pick any noise or radio interference in the room. The solution is simply turn down the gain and get closer to the mic. It also comes with software to configure more settings. If you use it with a phone, you may need the cable produced by rode but people say you just need a otg cable. Did’t try yet.

The Rode mic is excellent! The sound quality is crystal clear, and it's incredibly easy to set up and use. It has significantly improved my recordings. Highly recommend for anyone needing a high-quality microphone!

I use this mic for vlogging using a gopro media mod. It does need the dead cat to stop the wind noise outside I fix the mic on a stand and connect via a media mod, with a long trs cable with the mic out of view. Perfectly clear sound is recorded.

This Mike is a game changer. I had to he video mic pro which was large and bulky and needed a battery and turning on. This thing has a superb pick up pattern and has a really good signal and frequency response. Sadly it is not in use at the moment as the expensive sc-15 lead I bought to use with it broke the first time I used it leaving half the plug in the phone. Shame they don’t make leads as well as they make mivs

Great microfone, best choice up to £500.

I intially thought the sound quality was bad but then realised that the microphone is not working. On the Rode mobile app the microphone activity bar does not move indicating that the app can't see it. My camera app also does not seem to see it, so when I record video the phone just uses its own mic despite the usb-c being plugged in. Its the same with the TRS/TRRS cable. Curiously it works find if I plug it into my wifes Samsung S22. I have tried playing with microphone permissions but it makes no difference. So I have a wasted a lot of money unless someone can tell me how to fix this

Just received my Rode Videomic Go 2 a few days ago and I am absolutely impressed! I already have the Rode Videomic which is an older Rode mic but still offers high quality sound. However, it is larger, more bulky, and requires a 9v battery. I also use a small sound board with xlr Shure SM 57's and 58's for high quality sound. Pound-for-pound, the Rode Videomic Go 2 competes with the sound quality of more expensive mics and more expansive setups. It is truly a big bang-for-the-buck beast! In addition to its competitive, high quality sound, its functionality is simple and its versatility is diverse. Combined with the free Rode Connect and Rode Reporter apps for PC, Mac, Android, and Iphone, the Videomic Go 2 offers the same high quality audio across a variety of platforms and devices with little to no hassle or set up. I have already used this one single mic on-camera, with my S21 Ultra smartphone, on my Tab S7, and my desktop and each set up has provided high quality audio. Versatility. The USB C and 3.5mm outputs make all that possible. At $100, some may not consider this to be a budget friendly option. However, considering the level of quality audio across the various use cases this single mic offers, it's definitely a value. AND, if you look around, you might get lucky and catch a deal. I got mine for $79 which made it an even greater value. Can you get better sound quality from other mics? Sure you can, but they won't have the versatility and you'll be out considerably more than a $100. And how much better will the sound really be? Hmmmmm.
