I didn’t read the description carefully when I placed the order and incorrectly thought it would remain totally black as an impossible puzzle, essentially as a fidget toy. As I touched and rotated the sides, I noticed the color changes. Super cool! The fact that it shifts back to black after a couple of minutes is just awesome. Reality check: the cube is no more a challenge this way, because the colors remain vibrant if it remains in your hands. There’s no “rush” to solve it before the colors fade to black. Still it’s cool. The manufacturer has really improved this since I played with the original decades ago. The movements are smooth and I expect this to last a long time.

The classic Rubik’s Cube is still unbeatable. Smooth turns right out of the box, bright durable stickers, and the perfect level of challenge whether you’re a beginner or speedcuber. Worth every penny—10/10 iconic brain teaser.

This is a cool toy. It changes color from the heat of your hands and that always keeps my kiddos interested. Its very smooth, fun to play with and good for gifting as well.

Our kids have loved playing with these Rubik's cubes and have played with them for hours at a time. The cubes arrived in good condition. I really appreciated that the cubes were easy to move from the start, but not too easy to move. In addition, the cubes didn't feel cheap and 'wiggly'. This cube seems to be just perfect right out of the box. The only thing that I was disappointed about was that there were no instructions included with the cube. When I got my first Rubik's cube years ago, it came with a set of instructions on how to twist the cube in order to solve it. I spent hours and days playing with the cube and looking over the instructions until I didn't need them anymore and could solve it on my own. It would have been helpful for my kids to have something to reference so they could have a similar experience.

The Rubik’s Cube Original 3x3 is seriously one of the coolest puzzles ever. From a kid’s perspective, it just feels awesome in your hands — the shape is perfect and solid, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. The durability is great because even after tons of twists and turns, it still holds up like new. It’s super easy to use once you get the hang of it, and the speed is smooth and satisfying when you’re trying to beat your own time. The pieces stay together really well, and everything lines up the way it should. For the price, it’s totally worth it. You can play with it over and over and never get bored. Five stars because it’s fun, challenging, and feels like a brain workout in the best way!

PROS: 1. Inexpensive. 2. Stand is a nice bonus for display. People who come to my house, will always pick it up and play with it when they see it. 3. Perfect for hours, days, even months of fun...definitely the best investment for the money. 4. High quality. I have been using it for months now and it is still working great (though the "Rubik's Cube symbol" on the center white square is starting to fade off). CONS: 1. Not really a con, but while this is a super smooth cube, it is not a speed-cube like that you see real experts use. You can easily make it into a speed cube for the best solving times by using it a lot and using silicone lubricant spray to make it really slippery. 2. Again, not really a con, but the white center has a "Rubik's Cube" emblem and that is starting to fade off after months of use. It does not affect the functionality of the cube itself. 3. Again, a non-con, but in certain low light situations, I find it difficult to differentiate the yellow pieces from the white pieces. Under low yellow (warm) light, the white looks more yellowish and that makes the two colors hard to tell apart. Just remember to solve the cube in decent lighting and this is not a problem (unless you can do it blindfolded, in which case, it is definitely not a problem). It's been a long time since first solved the cube. I still have my older one but it is a mess now...very sticky and difficult to move the pieces. I wanted a "speed cube" and though this isn't it, it is pretty darn close. The more you use it the smoother and quicker it gets. A little silicone spray also did wonders and it is fast and easy to move. I don't do the modified CFOP technique for the best times (all speed-cubers use it but I simply don't have the time to memorize 100+ algorithms right now...maybe later), but slowly and surely the old basic system/technique I developed in the late 70's or early 80's (I don't remember exactly when...I was just a kid back then) came back to me and I can solve the cube using that method in under 1 minute now. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants something to play with, challenge themselves to try to get better and better times, and, in general, have hours of fun for as little money as possible. This is definitely the best investment (for a money/time value) I have made in decades. Just think about it. Most games, you get tired of in a couple of hours. Most video games last one day. Some really good ones last a week and some online games that are constantly upgraded last longer, but you pay through your nose for those games. For a just a few bucks, this is a toy you can play with for hours, days, weeks, months on end...again, the best entertainment investment you can have. Challenge your friends to beat your scores...everyone who is new to my house and sees the cube immediately start playing with it and eventually ask if I can do it and when I say yes, they want me to because they are still amazed at how someone can solve it. This is a definite buy! Go for it!

Have never had a rubik's cube before but these seem to be good quality even with kid hands pulling and twisting. No issues, would recommend.

I'm a rubiks cube nerd from the 80's. Fastest solved is 1 minute 30 seconds. What's great about this one is it's the real thing. The knockoffs tend to be tight and take time to wear in. This one is smooth. makes solving much easier. I'd buy again.

Sin duda una compra que puedes hacer con los ojos cerrados. Al ser el producto original recibes calidad y la seguridad de tener una experiencia agradable con el cubo. En la página oficial podrás encontrar la documentación del cubo la cual es 100% compatible ya que la distribución de colores y el orden es exactamente como se describe en el sitio web. Si eres principiante mi recomendación es comprar el producto original ya que eso te permitirá seguir muchos de los manuales y tutoriales que hay en la web. No sé si esto sea relevante pero el paquete es un tanto austero, no esperes recibir una caja bonita como lo verías en un supermercado, en su lugar viene en una bolsa sellada la cual se encuentra dentro de una caja de cartón, no obstante los logos de la marca se pueden ver en todas partes y en lo personal el empaquetado es lo menos importante ya que yo solo buscaba un producto original y de buena calidad que no se trabe al momento de usarlo.
