Finally! A non-disposable brand of charger!!
It boggles my mind that this isn’t a more known brand - I’m actually worried that because they are so good at what they do that either the prices will go up or they’ll be put out of business by the phone manufacturer! After years of going through phone cords like they were made to be disposable, I got fed up and started doing some research into the most durable & long lasting phone charger. I kept coming back to this brand after seeing it mentioned multiple times, and when I saw that there was a lifetime warranty I was sold but still doubtful. It couldn’t actually stand up to my kids use forever so I knew I’d have to put that guarantee to the test at some point. Thankfully it worked like a dream for us and really did seem to be thicker at the end point that goes into the phone so that when my kids were being rough in disconnecting it, it held up and didn’t immediately have issues, which is more than I can say for most of the other kinds we tried (and we tried a lot!) So after a year I bought this 10 foot cord because my previous one from another brand had quit working completely and I like more freedom while charging so it seemed worth the minimal cost to try the longer version (even though I thought for sure that with that extra length came more opportunities for issues.) But the first one had saved us so much money already from not having to buy a new one each month! Well the lasting power was there too because it worked perfectly for almost a full year. And when it did begin to charge intermittently and then seemed to quit - Anker held up their end of the warranty with their hassle free guarantee. Within a matter of a couple days I had the replacement and it’s every bit as good as the original and I didn’t have to stress over getting a new one and which one to get and would it even work to begin with or how long until I’m telling my kids not to unplug & move the charger because it could make it stop working? Yet I actually use one of these with a power bank so I’m moving it all the time with no effect - you don’t get that out of dollar store, $5, or mall branded cables. * and to be fair, this one I had that stopped working was used beside my bed, and I’d often fall asleep using it so I didn’t baby the cord and it still saved me from buying around a dozen new cords before it needed replaced (at no cost to me, might I add) And the original cord I bought? Well, after my kids ripped it from the tablet jack for 2 years it did show some wear at the connection. But it never fails to work! When I showed the company the photo of that - they replaced it too! I stan this brand and gave their powerful cubes as Christmas gifts because they charge our stuff so fast and who wouldn’t want to low key rep a company that’s just doing the thing that we all wish we could take for granted. I wanted peace of mind and not to have to always be worrying about my phone cord situation and I’m finally here. It’s liberating and I can’t imagine I’ll ever waste my money buying another brand of cable again. It would be worse than literally throwing my money in the trash because I’d actually be paying for the headache another brand would give me. And I’m not in any way compensated for a review I just really believe more people should know about these and I would drive around with their bumper sticker on my car telling random strangers about it because they are killing it in the cable world and will hopefully raise the bar for other manufacturers to quit selling disposable junk in place of something we have to be able to rely on every day.

Anker continues a streak of high quality for now
The latest version of the Anker ‘Powerline’ cord continues to have a design that outlasts the apple official wire. Its my “daily driver” when I charge every night before sleep, and when I travel. Data seems to pass through well, and works well with wired apple-car-play (a good indicator of wire quality, in case you didnt know). This wire replaced a Powerline 2 that lasted many years and many trips. At 10ft long you get a lot of freedom to move. It stays in the lightning port well and has a reliable connection. The connector is maybe .5mm taller than the previous version, but I think it would clear most cases, but its NOT as slim as an Apple cord so of your case *only* fits an apple wire (rare now a days) then this might not for. I photographed the pins, the metallurgy of the pins appears to have less of a gold color. I can only speculate that its a cost saving measure… however I cannot say that for sure. I'd suggest if you need a reliable, and long-lasting cable- and flexibility in tight spaces is not the most important factor, this is a recommended buy. ANKER’s quality continues to be impressive and reliable for the price.

Didn’t arrive as promised
Anker is a good charger. We have several and they charge our devices well and hold up great. The cord length is perfect for my needs. The white cord is easy to keep clean and looks great. The only complaint is that the cord was supposed to be delivered Tuesday, Nov 25, 25. We were notified, but not until 11ish pm on Tuesday that it wouldn’t be delivered. I don’t blame the driver. The driver was professional and nice. When I placed the order the site stated it would be delivered 11/25/25. I am annoyed with Amazon and the shipping itself.

Nothing will last forever, thankfully ANKER warranty policy does!
Initial un-boxing: Cable was packaged in a simple sturdy box, cable felt durable and not cheap, it has some heft to it. I bought this cable mainly because of the warranty, knowing that it will last a lifetime, its a no brainer. I travel quite a lot so this cable goes where I go. The nice thing about a long cable is the reach. Every hotel room is different, sometimes they have the power socket next to your bed, sometime they have it across the room. Having this long cable really put ease between charging. The cons: It does tangle from time to time due to its length, I'm not even gonna complain on this one. **1 YEAR AFTER: There's some crack here and there, some noticeable weak spots, its starts getting more pliable and filthy. I cleaned them like once this year, with disinfectant and some good rubbing (you're going to hell). But as you can see from the video, the steel braid cabling inside the rubber casing is not affected, its still solid. Its about time to call/contact Anker to claim that warranty. I was surprised, even though its in such a bad shape the cable have persistently performed; no hot spots, no losing charge, no malfunction. I'm quite impressed at this point. **WARRANTY: I emailed Anker customer support and they followed up right away. No hassle and timely to deal with. I have my replacement cable in about a week. Overall, I'm very happy with this company, and I wish they will never go away. Keep it up Anker!

This Anker PowerLine II Lightning cable truly lives up to the hype. The build quality is outstanding—it feels strong, flexible, and resistant to fraying or bending, something most Apple cables struggle with. After months of daily use, it still looks and performs like new. Charging speed is excellent, and being MFi certified means it works flawlessly with all my Apple devices—no “accessory not supported” errors. The 3‑foot length is perfect for desk or bedside use, and the connectors fit snugly without loosening. It’s clear Anker designed this to last, and it’s backed by their excellent warranty for extra peace of mind. A brilliant replacement or upgrade from Apple’s own cables—top quality, dependable, and worth every penny.

I’ve been using this Anker PowerLine II Lightning cable for several months now, and I honestly wish I had switched to it sooner. I’ve gone through way too many cheap cables in the past that either frayed, stopped charging, or just gave out after a few weeks. This one is a whole different story. Right out of the box, it felt solid and well-built—not stiff, but definitely thicker and stronger than the standard Apple cables. You can actually feel the quality in the way it bends and flexes. I’ve tossed it in my backpack, used it in the car, and it’s been through quite a bit of wear—and there’s no sign of damage or fraying at all. Charging speed is just as fast as the original Apple cable, and I never get those annoying “Accessory Not Supported” pop-ups. It’s MFi certified, so I feel confident using it with all my Apple devices—iPhone, iPad, even my AirPods. Another thing I really appreciate is the length—3 feet is just right for my desk and nightstand. And Anker’s customer service and warranty are top-notch, so I feel like this cable is truly built to last. ⸻ ✅ Why I Love It: • Feels tough and durable • Charges quickly and safely • No compatibility issues • Survived daily use with no fraying or slow charging • Backed by great customer support ⸻ If you’re tired of replacing cables every few months, this is definitely worth the investment. It’s the one cable I actually trust to last!

I bought this charging cable as a replacement cable for my car, so far, it has held up very well, Apple CarPlay works very well with it and it feels like a very durable cable. Anyone who needs a new USB-A charging cable should buy this one. Side note though, if you are looking for a fast charger for home use, I would recommend getting a Anker USB-C brick and charging cable as I recently got those as well and they work like a charm.
