Grade A Extra Large Planifolia Vanilla (Madagascar) Oozing with Vanilla! (6)

The vanilla bean arrived in a plastic container with lid. This was great as I had not cooked with a vanilla bean before so wasn’t sure how much I would need. I only used half the bean so was able to store the other half of the bean to be used later. I was making Creme Anglaise with this. There was plenty of flavour for the sauce with half the bean and seeds. The finished sauce was delicious and so much better than using vanilla essence! I shall certainly be re-ordering the product.

I’m a pastry chef with 30 years experience and have worked in kitchens all over the world and this is the best vanilla I’ve come across. Outstanding quality and now I won’t use anything else.
