Great addition to the crib
The media could not be loaded. Package: very well package in a box, inside content wrapped in tissue paper.Install: Very easy. It takes like around 15 minutes to put it together.Music: last 30 minutes, different lullabies. All of them very soothing, good invite for baby sleep.Rotation: clockwise only.Batteries: 2 AA. Not included, must unscrew back cover to insert them.Buttons: 4, power, music/rotation, back and forth (for music).Accessories: you can get independent accessories to switch figures/ colors. The music/rotation button has the following options depending on how many times you depress the button: rotation alone, music alone, music and rotation together. The baby was given to, seems to love it. He stares at the figures, and calms down with the music.I recommend this product.

Review for hanging part only
First, please note this review is for the hanging part of the mobile, not the whole set.Second, just trust me, your new kid is going to love this thing. I didn’t expect this random black-and-white mobile to be my most valuable-ever purchase, but I can’t explain how much my two-month-old daughter is just obsessed with it. She’ll watch it for so long. She smiles, coos, and laughs at it. She doesn’t react to anything else this way, and my older kid definitely never responded to any of his more complex mobiles this way.Something about the high contrast and the spacing and movement of the shapes on this particular mobile is just perfect. We can put our crying potato down underneath it and know that once she unscrews her eyes, she’ll stop screaming and start smiling for at least 20 minutes. That’s a lot of peace for around $20. This makes me sound like a shill but I mostly want to help out more future moms because I wish I’d had this simple little thing during my first go around with motherhood.Am also on the page so I can purchase another to place in a second room so we don’t always have to go “She’s crying!! Quick, distract her with the mobile!!” and run into the bedroom.

My 2 month old loves it
The black and white contrast pieces are great, and definitely hold the attention of my 2 month old grandson. There is no arm for attaching it to the crib, but at this age we are just dangling above him as he lies on his play mat. He loves it!

Perfect
My baby loves the high contrast mobile when moving or in the non rotational mode too. I love that it is helping his eyesight development. The sings are a nice variety with you typical children songs like London Bridge, Are you Sleeping Brother Jon, but it also has Hey Jude by the Beatles randomly in there. It works for me as its a personal favorite but not everyone may feel the same.

Perfect in every way
This lovely mobile is more than I could have hoped for. The piece itself is decorated in black and white with felt pictures of animals that face down so the baby can see them. It moves slowly and can be used with or without music. The music is real piano music-not canned, tinny electronic tunes. The songs are children’s songs played gently with a volume control. There are several songs that play. It turns off by itself. This is so well thought out. I highly recommend this. Bravo to the creator.

Keeps baby's attention
Beautiful mobile that actually keeps the baby's attention for longer than ten minutes! Love that it's battery powered so I don't have to keep winding it up and the black and white designs catch and hold baby's attention. It even came with a tiny screwdriver to open the battery pack with, and was very nicely packaged. The songs are traditional nursery rhymes for the most part but with small twists so they don't get boring. I would definitely recommend this mobile!

THIS was exactly what I was looking for!!!
My newborn is fascinated with it. My only Critique would be that there should be some kind of modification to attach it to a bassinet. I've got my son in a smaller co-sleeper and I plan on doing this for several months. What I understand they're most responsive to black and white when they're newborns and eyes are not developed. I don't plan on having him in his crib for a while and I will probably be having a different mobile by then. But hey!!I was able to make it work!

Stopped working after two uses
We loved it....until the music stopped working after two uses. New batteries didn't help.
