bit expensive but good at the job

I wanted these to protect the roofs of clematis plants. It wasn’t strong enough for my needs so I bought terracotta protectors. They are very good but too expensive. Better to buy the appropriate sized plant pot and cut it in halfusing an angle grinder, and then cut the top out. Then you have two clematis root protectors, needs to be clay terracotta pots not too expensive.The plastic ones may be good for tree trunk protection. That’s what I will use them for.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to assemble, just perfect. So pleased to find this after one of my cats suffered a serious cut to her tail which sliced deeply into her skin when she curled around the stems of my climbing roses. This has stopped that ever happening again.

Easy time fit and seem sturdy but a little on the expensive side at £20 to do 1 tree.

Some interlocking parts broken off before it arrived.Not a major issue.Small short ties gave me back ache and meant I had to use two pairs of tweezers. Ties should be twice as big and twice as long.

Sturdy I bought to protect pruned shrubs but totally obscures them until growth allows you to see them

These are fine for protecting plants but the first batch were darker, stronger and came with cable ties - hence I ordered again the second delivery were floppier and a different colour with no cable ties. Bought to stop do marking on plants so effective for that acting as a useful splash guard

I got these to protect some small, newly planted trees. They are exactly what I needed. They are strong, easy to use and can be snapped together to expand either horizontally or vertically. Great product!

Very nice kit. It has all the parts to install this successfully - including tie wraps, metal anchors and the plastic protector shields as well. The smart design let's you connect several shields together for larger saplings.

Received on time and in good order. Easy to install.

These protectors are very rigid/stiff. When I bent one around to form a circle like you are suppose to do to hook it up, one piece split in two places. Also they won't hook together to form a circle like is advertised. Instead they pull right apart. One piece will connect on top of another piece and stay in place to make a taller protector but I had to zip tie them together to form a circle around my new trees and that was so very hard to do because of the pieces being so rigid/stiff. I've had this type of protector in the past from a hardware store and never had any of these problems.

Waiting to see how the tough porcupines deal with it over the winter but very optimistic.
