Plages debarquement(id)(angl) Paperback – 11 February 1999

I brought this in free rediness for a cycling trip along the D Day beaches.This appears to provide a thorough photographic record of many major and a lot more relatively minor pillbox especially, gun emplacements and other militarially important features. As a translation from the original French edition there are quite a number of 'interestingly' constructed sentences. However, this does not detract from a very well researched book.I'm not sure that it will fit in my panniers so I'll have to read and take notes prior to the trip.Verdict : Recommended.
