Great value and quality - versatile and well made!
I was going back and forth on which adapter to get when I purchased my R6MII and was going back and forth between the OEM, cheapest, and this model. I decided that the addition of the filter was worth it and it was 100% the correct decision. I have a bunch of EF lenses and this design is both durable and protects the camera sensor. I also appreciate the variable ND filter and have been able to capture some great shots with lenses that I did not have a native filter for. Great buy.

Good build quality on adapter, but had optical defects on filters
After researching reviews of Canon EF to R mount adapters, I decided to give this Meike MK-EFTR-C VND Drop-In filter a shot. It's an amazing value compared to the Canon Drop-In filter. Build quality of the mount itself was nice, the filter holders had nice little rubber seals, and it functioned fine with my 3 lenses ... but it just wasn't for me. Your mileage may vary, but in order of importance, here's why I decided to stick with the standard Canon EF-R mount adapter: 1. There was a small bubble in the clear and VND filters. I ordered another MK-EFTR-C, but it also had defects (albeit smaller). Possibly I was unlucky twice. 2. The VND is very clever, but because it's 2 polarizers rotating relative to one another, by adding my normal circular polarizer to the front of my lens, I was able to shift the color of the image. This is a known issue. 3. I was a bit concerned about introducing dust more easily onto my sensor when swapping filters (or if they weren't fully seated). When they're screwed onto the front of the lens, the sensor is still sealed. I'm not a professional photographer, so I may not notice the above potential issues, but the purest in me fell back onto the simple principal of the Canon EF-R mount adapter. It's just air (i.e., no potential lens influence) and sealed.

Adds variable ND behind your lens!
Got this to pair with my Canon R 50 V to add variable ND filter so I don't have to have one on each lens. Works well. Adjust slowly, it's sensitive.

Meets all my needs
Great freaking product. I thought I was going to buy an adapter and the. Connect that to the drop in filter but this was everything in one. Now I have the best of my old setup with the new body.

Better color consistency than first party?!
I really enjoy the adapter. The autofocus works the way I want it and it doesn’t seem to have a color shift throughout its ND range. There are plenty of ef mount lenses that I can use instead of RF lenses. There aren’t noted stops between strengths except for light and dark at the ends, but my camera’s metering makes this a non-issue for me. Oh! And this works more like a PL mount than a traditional adapter. You put the lens in its position and then twist the adapter rather than the adapter still and twist the lens to lock. I recommend anyone who needs ND and has EF lens to pick this up!

Works perfect with my R6 MII, Tamron 1.4 Tele & EF 100-400mm II
This adapter is Top quality! Works perfect with my R6 MII, Tamron 1.4 Tele & EF 100-400mm II setup. I want the RF 100-500mm lens, but this will help get me there. Handheld shot indoors 560mm, 1/50s, ISO 6400, F8. The filters are another big plus! If you don't see it here .... but more testing when my EF 2x II Tele comes this afternoon. If it doesn't auto focus really good, I will edit & ad that here.

Net binnen en de bijgeleverde ND filter gelijk uitgeprobeerd, zie bijgevoegde foto gemaakt met een Canon EOS R, Canon TS-E 45 F 2.8, sluitertijd 25 sec. ISO 100. De adapter voelt solide aan en is degelijk afgewerkt, ook de bijgeleverde drop in Nd en bright light filter zien er netjes en goed afgewerkt uit. Voor de prijs een koopje, zeer zeker als je bedenkt dat je bij Canon geen bright light filter erbij krijgt en die dan apart moet kopen. Nu alleen nog op zoek naar een losse CPL filter en die zijn helaas niet zo makkelijk via Meike in Nederland te kopen. Een mail naar de internationale organisatie is tot nu toe nog niet beantwoordt. Al met al geen gesjouw meer met allerlei filters, heb je het filter niet nodig dan kan je die, in het plastic doosje wat meegeleverd wordt, in je camera tas of binnenzak opbergen. Het afstellen van het ND filter is vrij eenvoudig en tot nu toe geen last van flair of wat dan ook. Al met al zeker aan te bevelen, eenvoudig in gebruik en kostenbesparend.

Very fast autofocus speed just like cannon's original. ND filter is very good too. Nice design and feel.

Excellent produit. Astucieux, pratique et économique. Le filtres neutre variable polarise légèrement et le filtre polarisant est très efficace. La molette de réglage n'est pas hyper précise mais on s'y habitue et le produit est tellement malin que je lui pardonne tout ces petits défauts

Lo compré al adquirir una Canon Mark II sin espejo y querer usar objetivos que tenía de la cámara con espejo. Realmente hace su función y el tener diferentes filtros ayuda en días soleados.

La qualité est tres solide, Le fait de pouvoir bloquer l’objectif tout en intégrant un filtre nd est vraiment top pour mon utilisation avec le Canon R5.
