My 4 years Fish was happily swimming untill I decide to USE API products...its the worst ever true it cleaned the water and make it clear even from the Fish it self...the Fish will start to have hard breathing and start to sit on the ground of the Tank with in first 6 hours..of using API product..CHECK YouTube API product have alot of bad review for Killing the FISH..

Killed 6 fish in just one day. Go for other brands. Several YouTube videos says the same. Unfortunately the damage was already done by the time I saw those videos

I should have taken a before picture!! Our 30 gallon goldfish tank was as green as pond water… GREENER! I tried everything else to get the algae under control and this fixed it within a couple hours!

This algaefix is amaaaazing!! It cleared my green waterrr(algae bloom) in my tank in 5-6 hours completely. I'm impressed! And other algae are also dying out. But I think it stress out the fishes little bit for few mins when poured because, all my tetras grouped up and stayed at bottom and my gourami hided behind the plants. So I think overdosing will kill the fishes. So take that in mind and be conscious. I used two doses and my tank is pretty much recovered! And also I'm using this weekly after water changes. But keep in mind that this is a medicine that kills algae. If you really want to stop new algae growth, you definitely should be okay with all your tank water parameters and lighting. Everything should be balanced! I absolutely love this and recommend this product for the algae problems. THANK YOU!

As most other reviews mention, please only use half of the recommended dosage for your tanks. I never used a full dose, but read enough reviews to avoid it. I used a half dose and within days the tank was crystal clear. I was battling algae in the tank for a long time and tried everything imaginable to help try and keep it down though was unsuccessful. I was really nervous to try this product given a lot of reviews about their fish dying, but my fish has survived multiple applications all at a half dose. I do a dose about every month or so - whenever algae is starting to become prevalent.

This product really worked for me. I had algae problem since 1 year. How much ever I clean the tank algae was coming back. I used this product only once that too just 1.5ml. My algae problem is solved. I was able to see the results in 1 day. After 3 days the water was completely crystal clear. Im really happy about performance of the product.
