Well made
It is beautifully made. It looks delicate but feels very strong. It is the right size for me to make tea for one person. It filters very well. This is the time of year that I enjoy teas the most. I expect to use this for a long time.

Awesome teapot
Was debating between this model and the spherical one, but glad I went with this one. It's basically a borosilicate erlenmeyer flask with a handle and a spout, doesn't get any simpler. Because of that, when you pour the tea, the leaves all collect at the base and don't clog up the strainer lid until you're pouring out the last little bit. Optimal design for this application, IMO.Lid stays on nicely, strainer holes are small enough to catch broken leaves but not so small that it takes forever to pour. Spout is well made, doesn't dribble (which would be extremely annoying). Handle doesn't get hot. It's glass so it won't retain heat as well as a ceramic teapot, but you should know that going in. And since it's transparent you can appreciate the tea leaves as they steep, if you're into that sort of thing. Can't speak to the durability of the glass; if I smash it I'll update the review. But if you want to bash your teapot on stuff, stick to ceramic.

Perfect size and good quality
Perfect for two large cups, easy setup & cleanup, fine wire mesh to filter out small particles.

Hot tea
It’s great. Put on gas stove dose not get handle hot. Works great. Looks nice in my fridge ..

Has the benefits of glass brewing without the fragility
The teapot is great. The fifteen ounce size is perfect for my morning tea but seems too small to put on an electric burner for boiling the water so I still heat the water in an electric pot. The stainless steel lid fits firmly. The seal is complete so I can pour from the carafe without having to secure the top with my other hand. Even though it's glass, the teapot feels sturdy. I've had glass pots in the past that have broken easily. The square design of the handle makes it easy to hold. If I were to purchase this again, I would choose the next size up. Of course, I like buying from a small American business.

Almost perfect, but not quite
This is a lovely teapot. The size is nice for 2-3 cups. I make one at a time, so it's nice to have this smaller size. I don't use blooming tea, but I like to put in loose leaves and watch them unfurl. The filter works, with a couple of exceptions. It would have 5 stars except for two things: 1) lately, the lid tends to slide out while pouring. It's never fallen completely out, but I have to put a finger on it to prevent that. I wish it was just a millimeter tighter, so I could pour one-handed. 2) For multiple infusions, after pouring, the tea gets stuck up in the lid filter so you have to use a finger or utensil or water to get the tea leaves back into the pot. The pot seems designed for blooming teas, which would likely not be a problem.

100% real-deal teapot: no leaks, stays very warm, holds 32 oz+
I needed a new teapot for loose tea after an old 24-ouncer with bottom-filtration leaked for the final time. I wanted something that could do at least 32 oz, and wouldn't leak, so I took a flier on this, and I love it. Filters out of the top, so no leaks out the bottom, and better still, doesn't leak out of the top when pouring. Can handle 32 oz quite comfortably. Advertises 40, but you're going right up to the top of the pot with that- I would recommend a max of 36 oz (which is still plenty). Also, tea stays warm for quite a long time in this pot (again, much longer than the plastic one it replaced). Cleans pretty easily; the top can be a bit futzy depending on the kind of tea, but it's still much easier to clean than the bottom-filters. A fantastic add if you love loose tea.It is made of glass, and said glass isn't indestructible. I fumbled mine, and broke it (this was 100% my fault). Loved the pot so much that I ordered another one (that I will try to take better care of).
