The media could not be loaded. It’s tiny! The size of this little guy is at 2 inches by maybe 7/8 of an inch, see photo. It fits in the slot nicely. As you can see in the video it holds the yarn well while working on the addi knitting machine. I’m not sure how strong it will be when a new skien of yarn is being used (they are tight in the beginning of a new skien). Seems a bit fragile in a way… time will tell how it preforms long term. Two came in the little box, pictured. There’s no instructions as to how to use it or which slot is for tight or loose tension. I guess it’s trial and error, learn on your own on how to use it.It actually came a day early and was delivered in a small package (as expected).It’s made in china.Sure wish I could have found one made in the states. I guess I should have looked else where other than Amazon.

It is very handy to keep steady tension. However I had to take a file to smooth the edges. Could be much better if the edges were smoothed out.

The tensioner is simple to use, fits the Addi great and is a must for even tension.

Adding these to the addi was such a game changer! The tension appears more even, making a better looking product

Unfortunately, I didn’t try to use these until well after the return date. Because once I did, I found out it was way too thick. You can’t have a tensioner in and yarn in the feeder at the same time. It won’t even feed onto the machines teeth. There was only one tine on the other tensioner.
