After installing this replacement battery, my roomba keeps giving battery charge errors and will not charge or run. Go buy a different battery - this one sucks.

This battery is a perfect fit and has a great energy output once charged. It powers your roomba as efficiently as the battery that originally came with it. If you've never had to change the battery, consider it a good opportunity to also clean your roomba as well, a lot of dust finds its way under the bottom plate. Removing the bottom plate itself is what gives you access to the battery compartment; simply remove the old and insert the new, its that easy. If your roomba feels like it may be getting slower, this battery will definitely help bring it back to life.

It’s a bang for the buck but sometimes if your roomba has scheduling it sometimes will work. There’s a is a resistor trick for it to recognize as a “genuine” battery.

This battery worked well for the first 45 or so days. After that, the decline to “basically useless” was abrupt and complete. I’ve been able to make this work off and on, but after around 60 days it really ceased to charge and went into full time “replace battery” mode. After finally getting some time to look into it further, sadly, it’s essentially useless at this point and well beyond the return period.

I've had this battery for 8 days. I fully charged it overnight before using it. The first two times it ran for 1 hr and 12 minutes, which was acceptable. I started getting "charging error" messages right away. After 2 days it was only running for 30 minutes, max, at a time. It charges for over an hour in between. It takes 3 charges to run a normal cycle that should take 1 1/4 hrs in one swoop. It ends up running off and on for half the day. This is exactly what the old battery was doing and why I was replacing it. I was trying to avoid iRobot's high prices but it didn't work. Back to iRobot I go. This is getting returned.

Although this looks different than the original iRobot battery, it fits perfectly. I do not receive any error messages or error codes when using this aftermarket battery. This brought my forgotten Roomba 870 back to life. I had given up on this older model Roomba when the original battery stopped working. I recently recovered it from under my desk and it’s back up and running, and it lasts a really long time. This battery is really easy to replace, just two screws and a plastic cover. I will update this if I encounter any issues.

Bought this battery thinking it would work. Just over A month old and it last about 4 minutes and goes back to charge! Do NOT recommend this battery. Spend the money and get a Irobot battery!

Worked fine for a while. Then started running fewer minutes before recharge needed. Sometime last month irobot wouldn’t even charge this battery. Bought a branded batter to replace it, and it runs just fine now.

This battery is not compatible with my Roomba 980. It is detected as a non-Roomba battery and won’t charge. Does anybody test these products??I got two cleanings out of it and it partially charged for a bit, but it never got a full charge. Now it refuses to charge.
