I ordered this step ladder for painting the interior of my house so I wouldn't have to be up and down a regular ladder while holding a gallon of paint. I tore my meniscus and tendon on the inner side of my knee last year so standing for extended periods of time on a regular ladder hurts my leg. This little guy does the trick! It is nice and sturdy and well worth the money. I ordered a rubber pad to put on top of it as this is going to double as a workout bench for me too!

Assembly is 4 bolts, but the will fight you a bit for alignment. A rubber mallet persuaded it. It could fold up neater for hanging storage, but that's okay I guess. I bought a 4WD truck that's about 4 inches taller than my previous truck. This platform gives me the ability to reach the center of the hood or reach over the bed sides (I'm 6'1") on this bigger truck. I'm sure there will be other uses down the road, but it's doing what I envisioned just fine.

Non skid surface I got these because the vehicle was too tall and a ladder is much easier ot tip up against the car. Wider base legs, Folds to about 3 inches deep. Walk along and do the top of your vehicle wihout moving a wobbly stool or ladder that could tip. I love it when I buff up there it is a very solid worker.

Bought for using on property in the country. Working by myself i must have everything completely safe to use to protect me from falling. I am 65 years young and believe in paying high quality tools to i only have to buy one time. I like this stand for numerous reasons which are the grit on the top to keep boots from slipping and it has heavy duty latches that lock legs in place, it has horizontal support beams across base with rubber pads that grip any surface so stand does not move while standing or moving, has a step halfway up so you can easily step up onto top of stand without having to raise your step up high an lose your balance. Highly recommend this stand for in and outdoor work.

I never like leaving a review right away its almost useless, but with all the ladders, stools, saw horses, & EVERY other kind of step you can think that I've tried as you all have I'm sure, this thing is so damn great! I LOVE IT can't slip surface really sticky! rubber feet, rounded WHAT A PERFECT STABLE PLATFORM! Lots of space to step & for the 1st test I put it though all the things I've experienced in failures, tipping over, NO, side steps to small? . NO! side step doesn't come out far enough,NO! slip? ..NO! slide? ..NO, WILL THE RED SECURITY HOLDERS ACTUALLY SAFELY HOLD! Well I smashed them, banged them, tried to kick & push them open & stood on the corners, if you pick it up place it on 1 corner & push 1 side will open, HEY I DON''T WANT THIS THING COLLAPSING WHEN IM ON IT! {PLEASE DON'T DO THIS AT HOME UNLESS YOUR HOLDING ONTO SOMETHING WITH PLENTY OF CUSHION TO FALL} & IT HELD UP, the only thing I can say no way its only holding 330lbs I believe, I know it will hold much more so you have that covered as well,1 of the few times a company really didn't want to exaggerate & parameter, as for price? For me its under priced I mean it's gonna be used so much & the peace of mind? Well I would have paid more for this.
