Good alternative to OEM
2005 Ford F-250 with 5.4L. Was originally looking to replace old plugs with OEM but read a few reviews with some customers stating they were not receiving the updated SP546. This site claims they sell the updated design and I honestly don’t know if they are but they do cost a lot less. I figured why should I pay a higher price for the same crappy design that causes a simple plug change into a multi hour project. Put these in and truck runs great. Will update after I get some miles on them.Project notes:Had the old plugs soaking in rust penetrant for a few days as I did timing chains and phasers.I had 4 of the 8 break off. Did 3 with air impact after heating up the plug well and they zipped right out. But be careful as you can mess the threads up in the plug hole and then your screwed. This method is not recommended by Ford but I used it after breaking off the first 4. Couldn’t get impact on the passenger side back (cyl #4) and it didn’t break so could have just been that bank was easier to come out. Lots of videos out on YouTube. If the original plugs are in there you will need this:Lisle 65600 Broken Plug Remover for Fordhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00267PZUK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1And maybe this as there is more than one way to break the plugs:Lisle 65710 Porcelain Pullerhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RGNIGYG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think they're good plugs but my Ford says no.
I guess these are pretty descent plugs and my first experience with iridium plugs . I've ran them now about a month now and believe my fuel mileage has dropped about 1 to 2 MPG . So I purchased a new set OEM Motorcraft that I'm putting in today . I'm not dogging your product or Iridium plugs . My 5.4 Ford seems to be real finicky and I feel like my mileage will go back up when I put the Motorcraft in .

DO NOT BUY
I tried to add more photos. I bought these V-Plus iridium spark plugs 2 years ago. I just got my first misfire on these plugs. So I decided to change them all out. 1 of them came out easily. 6 out of 8 were very corroded and very seized. I was worried that they would break, but I did manage to get 7 out completely. The 8th one is still in the motor because the nut has disappeared. My 07 was getting about 16-18 miles per gallon when I first installed them. It has been getting around 13 mpg lately. These plugs are not worth even $1.

2 plugs were discolored
i was able to use 6 out of the 8 plugs and so far they seem good. I did not trust the discolored plugs as they looked used.

Only received 7 out of 8
I like the look of them now if only I received all 8 like I ordered the box broke open in the bag it was in and so did the individual ones and one slipped through the hole that was in the bag now I have to spend money to replace it
