MonteverdeUSA Jungle Ink Collection Gift Set – 10 Exotic Fountain Pen Inks, 30ml Bottles, Vibrant Colors

Montverde is reliably beautiful ink so I am excited to use these lovely colors.

In this set, each bottle is roughly $8 and included most of the colors I would have individually selected. Unfortunately, one bottle spilled all up & thru the storage box and plastic case of each bottle. I used over 10 bleach wipes to clean off the bottles & inside of the plastic cases for each color and of course the inside of the box. Chatted with customer service and they were quick to resolve the issue.I tested only the motivation orange which was smooth, vibrant & absolutely beautiful. Vibrant inks are an extension of my personality, I found purchasing colorful ink cartridges can become expensive & they don't always fit the various brands of pens so I decided to try bottled ink and am so glad I did! Very pleased with this set.

Very nice color selection AND smooth in the writing...You may have to get a new pen to celebrate?!

I have been using various inks for years and I like the performance of the Monteverde brand. I wanted to share that experience with a friend and thought this would make a good gift. But once I was holding it, I knew there was no way I would follow through - it was mine! Before you tisk-tisk me, I did get them something equally as nice.If you are thinking of actually giving it to someone, this is a nice assortment of quality inks and it is in a nice presentation package. Just about anyone that uses fountain pens would be happy to receive it. Maybe that someone is even you?

Arrived with at least 2 bottles leaking in the box. Returning for refund as this appears to be an all too common issue.

The ink works smooth and the e colors are vibrant they didn’t bleed. It was packaged very well nothing came broken. Happy with it will buy again.

This was an impulse buy when I saw them on Amazon for WAY less then the major online pen retailers. I've had good luck with Monteverde inks in the past, so why not? Thus far I have only tried 2 of them (Amethyst and Erinite) the colors are very nice, and scoring 10 bottles at $5 each was a good deal. Having the come in a very nice presentation box is a bonus.

Almost every ink bottle had some leakage. Kind of disappointing for the cost. I decided to keep because of the hassle sending back and it wasn't a lot of leakage. Since all the bottles were sealed I think the manufacturer needs to do a better job on packaging.

Such very, very nice ink. Note that I use coloured fountain pen inks mainly for drawing not writing, and since most inks aren't lightfast, I use them only in sketchbooks where that isn't an issue.I love water soluble inks so that I can sketch the lines with a fountain pen or dip pen, and then use a wet brush (dipped in plain water) to add interesting shading effects. The small test samples in the pic were made this way.The pic shows only a few, not the whole range of colours in the box. But in this review I'm focusing on the Amethyst, because when water's added, it separates unpredictably into pinks and blues and is quite amazingly beautiful. The purples aren't usually my first choice to work with, but this particular ink will be an exception. I love it. This is the only one in the set that behaves like this.ALL the colours are great, and well-chosen to provide a good range. I'll really enjoy using them!I have to say, the individual packaging was extreme, but at least there's no chance of receiving bottles that leaked! Once I broke into the 10 individual plastic boxes inside the black box, and cut off the 10 shrink-wrapped seals, the hard part began. Whew. The bottles were all very very very hard to open. Frustrating. I had to try multiple tactics, take breaks and I felt triumphant when they were finally all done! But I won't take off a star, because as I said, at least these inks aren't going to leak on their way to you.And I really love them.

Non posso che confermare , con soddisfazione,la qualità di questi inchiostri già vista nella Noir Collection . Tante declinazioni del blu, mio colore preferito , ad un prezzo molto vantaggioso…..

4 of the 10 inks had a vile sulphur smell and were unusable, the caps were on so tight they needed tools to get them off. Not recommended.

Glue on larger box dried up leaving the cut outs unglued but doesn't have any effect on the ink...lol. Contents were in good condition, no leakage and well packed. Prompt delivery as well. Quality from Monteverde as expected similar to buying from walk in retailers. Prompt delivery from Seller. Most if not all are my favourite saturated inks. Thanks.
