Anti-Static Hairbrush Review – Finally, a Brush That Tames the Frizz
If you’re tired of laundry detergents that mask odours instead of removing them, Halo Proactive Sports Wash is a standout. I’ve tested it on gym gear, outdoor wear, and everyday clothing—and it consistently delivers fresher results than mainstream brands. 🧪 What Makes It Different Halo isn’t just a detergent—it’s a bacteria-targeting formula designed to eliminate the root cause of odour: sweat-fed microbes embedded in fabric. Unlike standard detergents that rely on fragrance, Halo uses active ingredients that kill bacteria and viruses, even at low temperatures. 🧥 Real-World Performance I used it on technical sportswear that had built-up odour from repeated use. After one wash, the difference was clear: no lingering smell, no stiffness, and no need for fabric softener. It’s especially effective on synthetic fabrics like Lycra, polyester, and nylon—where odour tends to cling. 🧼 Gentle Yet Powerful Despite its antimicrobial punch, Halo is non-biological and suitable for sensitive skin. It doesn’t contain harsh bleaches or overpowering scents, making it ideal for families, athletes, and anyone with skin sensitivities. 💰 Value & Availability The only downside? Price fluctuations. It used to retail around £4–£5, but recent spikes have pushed it closer to £8–£16 depending on the seller. Still, for the results it delivers, it’s worth every penny—especially if you’re washing high-performance gear or dealing with persistent odours. --- Final Verdict: If you want a detergent that actually cleans deep, not just perfumes the surface, Halo is a smart investment. It’s the only wash I’ve found that keeps sportswear truly fresh—without compromising on skin safety or fabric integrity.

Amazing 🤩
I wash football kit for my local men’s team. It is black and white and sometimes they wear white shorts and socks 🫣 This detergent has changed my life. Is really gets the mud and grass stains out easily on the first wash. Also I have soaked my sweaty gym gear in it and it gets rid of those smelly ingrained underarm crusty bits 🤢 Great product and worth the price Smells amazing DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Nice smell.
Very good detergent. Smell is pleasant and not overpowering. Smells like delicate citrus fruits. Definitely gets rid of foul smells from your clothes. Use for towel's and underwear.

Excellent for compression wear
I wear compression wear for medical issues which can't be washed at high temperatures. I would frequently get skin infections - athletes foot and boils among others - so I religiously wash all socks and underwear at 90°C which helps reduce (re)infection massively, however I wasn't sure how to wash my compression socks and tights to prevent infection when they can't be washed at high temperatures. I was bleaching them (which seemed to be a bit less damaging than high temp) but I found the smell of bleach very migraine inducing. I started using Halo a few years ago to wash socks and tights, including compression wear, and it appears to help - not had an infection I can contributeto the socks/tights. Very much hope they keep making and selling this! I find the smell not too strong which is important, and I haven't had any issues with skin irritation from using it.

Works really well on whiffy clothing
Works really well on whiffy sports kit or dishcloths. It really is better than standard laundry detergents and handy to have around for when the need arises.

Great smelling clothes.
I bought Halo sports wash washing liquid because my usual detergent couldn't get sweaty smells out of my partners work clothes as they are synthetic. I'd already tried using white vinegar and sodium bicarbonate but they didn't work that well. Since I started using Halo sports washing detergent my clothes smell a lot cleaner and it does banish most sweaty musty clothes. I will definitely be buying this from now on. Glad I found it on Amazon.
