Bought for my light-sensitive other half, who has Goldilocks syndrome, but this apparently ‘the best eye mask ever’. The eye pad is quite a bit larger than her other masks (not uncomfortably so), and this helps it block out peripheral light well. Headband is the right width not to be distracting, and the elastic is tight enough to hold it on overnight, but not crushingly strong. The band is also adjustable over a good range. Most importantly the silk is soft and smooth on her face. Very good product and seems to have been designed with some thought.

This is the third eye mask I’ve tried and it’s perfect. The first one was not as soft and my eyelashes brushed against the mask, which was annoying.The second had a rim all the way round and when I took it off so did I, all round my eyes, I felt like a cartoon character! Needless they were never worn againThese are completely different. They are super soft again the skin and can be altered to the perfect fit. I love them and they really have helped my sleep quality. My husband sometimes likes to read in bed and I can’t sleep when the light from his ipad fills the room. Put these on and it’s all gone, sound asleep in moments.One other more trivial thing, they look nice and I like the saying on the front.

I am still getting used to this- I do find it a bit hot (but then it’s summer) and I am either pulling it off in my sleep or it is working it’s way off my head..but! I am getting the best sleep, unbroken and restful. So much so that I cancelled the new mattress order..the silk and fabric feels nice against my skin, my eyes seem less puffy in the morning... and the price is very good! So even if you are unsure it’s less than you would spend on takeaway meals and other one off experiences, so for the experience of a great night sleep..worth giving it a go and if it’s not for you then you can re-hash it as an Audrey Hepburn costume for potential fancy dress parties when life returns to normal!

I bought this of r my husband as he was moaning that I had a cute mask and he didn't. Well this couldn't be more perfect for him. He is a big gamer and was moaning that mine was not big enough for his head and this is adjustable! Honestly this mask could not be any better! He is very impressed with how soft and comfy it is too. I have a very happy husband on my hands, thank you.

This is my second silk sleep mask from Alaska Bear and again the quality is perfect. I have intra-ocular lenses in both eyes after suffering from cataracts since my early forties. I need a total blackout to sleep and have tried umpteen sleep masks before my daughter recommended Alaska Bear. Once tried I never went back to the inferior ones. I find the wide elastic strap comfortable and easy to adjust. The pure silk cover, stays cool and dry overnight. I find that my eyes are rested and I wake up refreshed. Also my husband can read with a bright bedside light on and I can’t see any light-bleed through my mask or around the edges. I would also recommend their foam edged mask for those who can’t stand anything touching their eyelashes. Or even for those who choose to sleep in false lashes. I have a mask my daughter bought me, so I could have a nap in full makeup.
