This is a fantastic supplement. Gaia is wonderful as always! Better mood & sleep, and a major reduction in hot flashes. I use it in conjunction with some additional herbal support for perimenopausal symptoms. But I find that when taken in the morning, there are lasting effects throughout the day and into the night. The addition of mood supporting herbs like St Johnswort really has an uplifting effect as well. Hope and positivity is an additional boost we women really need at this time of intense transition. Great supplement and I am really truly thankful for it :)

I have been using this for about 2 weeks, and even accidentally skipping some days, I could tell that my PMS was not as bad. :) No bad sinus headaches or allergies from hell, no major cramping or stomach upset.I will be interested to see how well it works after taking it for 2months.Will buy again to find out.Has not helped with sleep so far.I wish it was cheaper.

I started taking Gaia Women's Balance because I noticed the ingredients are a lot of herbs used for overall women's reproductive health. Not just menopause, but also PMS, ovulation, menses cycles, etc.My cycle started going off balance about a year ago, having bad cramps, nearly-psychotic PMS symptoms, etc. My doctor kept trying to talk me into taking hormonal birth control pills to balance the cycles, but #1: I'm unable to have children anyways, #2: I'd rather NOT have synthetic hormones and other potentially harmful chemicals in my system, and #3: the cost of birth control with no insurance is WAY higher than a bottle of these pills.I take this along with 2 400mg Vitex a day. My cycles aren't back to normal entirely, but better than they were, and a lot less PMS symptoms. My libido is out the roof, though. I'm not sure if that is normal with this or not. My husband has no complaints about that. So, I will keep taking this and recommending it to others.****EDIT MAY 12th 2015****Someone had asked me how many I took. I can't figure out a way to reply to them, so I will put it here that I take 3 a day, all at once, when I wake up in the morning.Also I should add that I did become pregnant while taking these, after having been told by a doctor that it was highly unlikely for me to get pregnant (excessive scar tissue & damage from improperly placed IUD years ago). I had to stop taking Gaia Women's Balance immediately for the safety of the unborn baby (a few ingredients in these supplements can cause miscarriage). If there's any chance you can become pregnant or are trying to get pregnant, it might aid in that, possibly. But I should warn you that the sudden stop of taking these, and the immediate effects of hormonal changes from becoming pregnant, were horrific for me. I was extremely sick the first 5 months of pregnancy, so sick that I was in the E.R. twice because I literally felt like I had a virus and was dying! My moodiness was out of control. It was an EXTREMELY stressful pregnancy which ended up in 40 hours labor and an emergency C-section. So use with caution, just to be safe, if its possible you could get pregnant. If you can't get pregnant and you need something to regulate PMS symptoms, then I still recommend this product, as it helps tremendously in balancing PMS symptoms as well as stress from everyday life.

This product absolutely works! I genuinely felt better. My periods were not as painful, my cravings for sugar/salt were curbed, my hair started to fill in , but my stupid chin hair started to be lighter and grow much slower ( very very good) I did see my stomach start to go down after about 2 months of taking the product. I also noticed that my blood pressure had lowered some. (I never had high blood pressure anyway, but I like to watch that when I'm taking something new) Overall very positive results. The ONLY downfall was it gave me terrible acid reflux. I could no longer drink my coffee because it would worsen. But if I stopped taking the pill for a day or two the reflux would go away. I don't know what that was about. None of the ingredients had this as a side effect. So I'm not sure what caused it but it was definitely the pills. I thought I would try another brand and those pills didn't give me the reflux. But they also didn't work like this one did.Now everyone's body is different. I completely advocate for this pill. Just pay attention to your body.
