I picked this box as I didn't want one with catches, I just wanted a simple open and close shut. The box is very sturdy and doesn't look like a shiny cheap jewellery box, it fits in my 2 sets of bulky keys with no issues.Time to test it!I put my car keys in the box with the lid shut and tried to start my car, I am pleased to report it would not detect the keyI open the box with the key still in the box and my car startsI shut the lid and again it would not detect the keyTest Complete :)I know its not the cheapest box on the site but as I said above, no catches to close or ugly fixings a simple push to close is what I wanted, and a box that's not to ugly.It does feel quite well made and this deliver's all that I wanted, and it works so I am happy with itI would buy again

This is no good, tested with a mobile phone and the phone still connected and rang on both gps and WiFi, so definitely no good for a car fob. So sending it back now and trying a different box.

I wanted a faraday box to keep our car keys in to help prevent keyless car theft. Many of the boxes i’d seen had either gold or silver clasps on the front, which I didn’t want as (personally) I felt that they looked a little tacky.I liked the look of this box as it had a clean finish and looked smart with the brown material. I’m pleased to report it looks and feels as good as i’d hoped.It also wouldn’t look out of place in our home. Again, another positive when it comes to the idea of a thief trying to find keys during a break in.I tested the box by standing next to the car door with the keys inside. With the box closed the car would not open. With the faraday box lid slightly opened, the car opened as normal, so the box definitely does it’s job and does it well.I’ve seen some boxes for three times the price so this offers great value for money without skimping on quality and it feels very premium.Very happy!!

The box looks a nice stylish grey to go with our decor. Soft padded on top. Not as robust as it looks. As the first day I stabbed my long finger nail through the top of the padding only. Luckily the grey shading colours, does hide the slit hole well. Has plastic feet to stop dust being picked up on the bottom edges. Has just enough room to hold two fob signal blocker pouches. When tested separately, walking up to our car. Both items did indeed stop the car from picking up the signal, so the car wouldn’t open. I like the metal keyring attached from the inside to add my other keys to, so all kept together in my bag when outside. The fob pouch is equally stylish and neat looking. Only one fob pouch comes with the indoor blocker box. Pity they don’t sell it to come with two. As I had to buy another pouch separately from a different supplier. Although having slightly different pouches proved handy in the long run, so we new instantly who’s was who’s, when opening the box up to grab one out. But I would of definitely have purchased extra fob blocker pouches in a different colour from this same supplier, if I had found that they sold them separately. Hopefully they will in the future. The box and pouches are definitely worth the investment. My friends only two weeks ago had their car stolen whilst at home asleep. They knew nothing about the signal blocking protection they could of used. But do now, for their next car!

We keep keys for 2 cars and a motorbike in this box. It's large enough, looks very nice, closes perfectly, noiselessly, and doesn't look out of place in a smart home.It comes with a faraday pouch for a single key which I use while out of the house when I park.Having had a car stolen from our driveway, we now take many measures to make sure it doesn't happen again.I really am happy with this faraday box and would really recommend it - it isn't the cheapest, but after losing a nice car, an extra few bob to keep your car safer seems a good idea to us!
