Best series on netflix no nonsense catered for, problems sorted in a very well thought out clever way. Actors are well into their parts which makes for better viewing. Wife loves it kor Cillin Murphy, what an actor.

Stellar cast and acting
Delivery was next day, super fast, packaging sturdy and recyclable, and delivery person handled my delivery with his usual care (kudos always to him).Awesome actors and character portrayal that brought the cast to life in ways rarely seen on screen. Cinematography, scene sets, and wardrobes vividly accurate to Victorian England. I really marveled how no character apparently developed lung cancer or an std, though. Definitely not for the squeamish: violent and gruesome in many scenes. Was very sad to learn that the incomparable Helen McCrory passed away.The listing says 12 discs, but I received 6 discs. The 6 discs I received are each one season with six episodes each. But are half of the 12 missing?I'm thinking there might be two versions of this set: one with 12 discs with the six seasons spread across 12 lower data storage discs. Or, a more condensed version with one season on each of 6 higher data storage discs. Other reviewers may have comments of interest to read.Fourth Season disc was scratched, which led to some minimal, temporary freezing. But played nevertheless. My only disappointment with this set is lack of subtitles which, if they had been added, would have made some scenes easier to understand.This is one series worth watching many times.

I saw several clips on social media and decided to get the boxset. I wasn't disappointed a cracking series.
