The media could not be loaded.  Howard's Tech Vlog 30. Test of he Goodan WiFi Wireless Endoscope/Borescope waterproof digital camera. This a WiFi enabled Endoscope digital camera used for inspection. Last year I reviewed a similar camera used to examine the corner wall of our house where I found carpenter ants parading in from outdoors, and recorded an interesting but scary looking video. This WiFi endoscope is unique because of it's build in WiFi transmits to any mobile or WiFi enabled device. It connects to your mobile device, either Android or Apple, using one of two apps available free from the Google Play or Apple iTunes Store: HD See or Moqo View. In this video I successfully installed the app and connected the Endoscope camera via it's WiFi to my Apple iPod Touch 5, and it worked great! Very impressive. And I was able to record a short video. Hoping I don't I have to check my walls again for carpenter ants. But, I'm ready for any intrusion. I did take care of them with a safe method, Boric Acid powder sprayed into the wall where they were visiting. It was a short stay, thank goodness! Those ants can be damaging to a home. TechnicalSpecifications The camera is 2 MP and is waterproof measuring 8 mm across (a little over 1/4"). It will record in 3 resolutions: 1200P, 720P or 480P. Focal length (focus) is from 1.2 inches to 3.2 inches and has built-in 8 led lights to illuminate your inspection path, adjustable with a control on the cable. The cable is 5 meters long (about 15 feet) and is rigid enough to push through walls and other limited access areas without bending easily. The WiFi adapter has a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that charges in about an hour and allows about an hour use before recharging. It will transmit to your mobile device with a range of 5 to 30 meters and requires a password to access. The apple allows you to record videos, snap photos and save files to a folder. A USB charging cable is included, however, if you have an Android phone charger adapter, you can plug that right into the Endoscopes WiFi adapter for charging. I've already successfully tested this Endoscope and it works great! I used it with my Apple iPod Touch 5 via its WiFi connection and I was impressed! I'm just getting started with this gadget and am very impressed with it so far. Super easy to pair with the iPhone. Photos, videos are stored both in the app, and also iPhotos where all other photo media are stored. I'm just starting to play around with which resolution works best for certain applications. Not always best to use the highest res as some of the lower like 640 pans out a bit and is easier to see when looking around for something. The light works well - it's controlled by a slide on the wifi box. Adjust to specific needs.Haven't changed the scope with the mirror attachment or hook, but I'll try the mirror as I get to really learn optimal uses with this scope.Picture is very clear. It takes some time to get used to orientation, but it has a "mirror" switch on the app so you can flip the picture while in use.I adjusted some of the camera parameters as well with brightness, sharpness, etc. Again, to whatever light and space conditions you're working with.First thing I did was send it down my sink drain just to test (see photo). And absolutely, it works great!! It'll be neat to use with my motorcycle gas tank to check for rust (during a restoration) or engine under side to see leaks or whatever may be in need of viewing.For the money it is a nice little device. Definitely recommended!

I'm a maintenance engineer and this is the best device I've used. I'm used to have the dewalt where the screen sit on the handle with the cable right after and it's always very difficult to use it and expensive device. here less 40$, you have the wifi technology that help relocating the screen wherever you want and to have the borescope in your hands. The video quality is very good (I have an Iphone 6, I don't know for the other phones). I used it to inspect inside frame of my car and was able to maneuver without any issue and without holding the screen. just love it, already being borrowed by multiple friends and they all love it too. awesome product for the price.

Doesn’t live up to the claims! No! Image not very clear! WiFi unit flaky! Battery doesn’t Last Long!Where to start? The image is no where near the claims they have posted they ARE NOT HD! The WiFi unit has a password on it but the device has no security the password is not needed to connect to them! I don’t know if I got a new one or a used one? If they are used...

I want this as a gift for my husband on amazon about a week ago .I have viewer many listing and read the reviews for each; At last I choose this tiems; As a fire truck mechanic, he's frequently working on equipment and wiring in nearly inaccessible spaces. He's had a lot of fun playing, I mean, getting acquainted with it! So far, it appears to work exactly as advertised, with good resolution on close images (I really need to clean under the stove!). The light is pretty good in tight spaces and the wire is actually quite stiff. The Wifi View app works exactly as described and is very easy to use. I highly recommend this!

Charged once and used for test. Difficult to read instructions. Second try to use and battery dead and cannot recharge. Goofy lights blink randomly. The whole thing is a piece of junk.

The risk... purchasing a product that doesn't perform as advertised. Trust your neighbors and realize that this product, once purchased, is worth an afternoon of frustration, void of satisfaction, while the product you thought you were purchasing turned out to be best suited as a door stop.Do not support this garbage.

Absolute waste of money. Impossible to use for anything practical and software of no use. Save your money and skip this one.
