Excellent balance between lay-person level explanations and focus on details!
Less than 300 pages, so one can read this book in a few days. What I most appreciated about this book is the balance between explaining concepts for people without a ton of background on the subject, as well as people who are delved in AI/ML/IOT/Data science in a meaningful way. The definitions are clear, details round concepts and their applicability are understandable, and sections are progressive (in a good way) and well laid out. I like the way the author started by explaining the history of the subject, and how the current state came about the way it has. The author’s mastery in RPA and blockchain came across clearly - suggest readers spend time on those two sections - nicely done! The future trends part of the book is intriguing and thought-provoking. The Future of work section includes a bit of conjecture, hence taking away .25 stars! It is a nitpick however. Due to my profession, I have been around this subject for a while, and greatly enjoyed the book. Highly recommended!
