Just installed yesterday and seem to work well. Definitely makes changing or cleaning the filter MUCH easier! 100% worth buying these. Make sure if you have 1 1/4" Hoses on your pool that you purchase the Adapter B for these. They don't really say on here that you have to get them separately.

So this little pump works so good that we had to keep changing the filters. It truly filters so well, we had to change the filter weekly. A few times, I changed it twice a week. If you don’t change the filter, obviously it won’t work as good and eventually you’ll need too.

The pump works great and I don’t have any problems but I had a misunderstanding about how to operate it that has created an inconvenience for me so I thought I would share. The instructions say to run for max 4 hours a day but the pump is only plugged in and on or unplugged and off. I thought it would work to buy an outdoor timer to schedule 4 hours a day but while on vacation and while busy but I realized due to the rest/reset gfci on the plug when the 4 hours is up it trips needing to be reset so if you are not around to reset it then it won’t run. I decided I would just set 4 hour count down and that way I can run it and walk away it just won’t run when we are away. The original manufacturer pump had an automatic timer so I liked that but I like this higher GPM pump.

Easy to use and easy to change filter. After changing the filter, make sure you run for a minute and stop, then loosen top plastic screw to let excess air out. Tighten and run again.

They do their job if they were made better. One worked great, the other wouldn't stay attached and caused a loss of a lot of water from the pool.

I upgraded my smaller pump on my pool to this one. It works finally after we got it to seal. I was afraid that we has gotten a defective pump. After 3 days of trying the pump finally stopped cavitation and finally started working. Been doing fine since.

The valve functions as it should, but the design is faulty The Female couplings (Dark Grey) are a 2 piece design, that is glued together. The seam is where they raised areas that you grip to close are located. The issue is that the glue/weld in these rears are not strong enough, so when you tighten the couplings the joints begin to separate and the coupling loose their connection. I remedied the situation on mine by using a large hose clamp around the coupling and tightening it. Overall these work, and maybe the ones you get have stronger seams, but expect these to need additional support to work correctly.

Great product help with shut water off for easy cleaning. Would recommend . Wish shipping was a little faster but it was a holiday so could have just been delivery delay not company fault.
