Can you say there is a giraffe in the bathroom? We came across this cast iron giraffe toilet paper holder and thought what a fitting piece this would be to go with our elephant shower curtain. This is a heavy piece so there is no worry about it always falling over even when it is filled with 3 rolls of toilet paper. And what a great way to store extra toilet paper without it having to go under the vanity. Otherwise one is forced to use one of the basic toilet paper tube holders that we have all seen at the local retail stores.The giraffe toilet paper holder can hold up to 3 rolls of toilet paper wrapped or unwrapped (if yours comes individually wrapped). Or this giraffe paper holder can be used in the kitchen with a roll of paper towels. Over all I would say the giraffe paper holder is just shy of 20 inches in height and just under 6 inches in length. It is a heavy piece being it is made out of cast iron.This would also make a great screen door or normal door stop. Or can be used without toilet paper or paper towels and can just be a giraffe statue in the home. No matter how or where you use it this will be a conversation piece. As how often is a giraffe found in a bathroom? I purchased this giraffe toilet paper holder 4 years ago and it's still in the same place, doing it's job well, holding toilet paper and looking cute! I often stack it with 3 rolls of toilet paper because it's in my main floor bathroom which gets used so often by the family and visitors. It obviously looks cuter when you can see the little guy's head, but it isn't long before that top roll is removed to add to our dispenser.QUALITY: It is heavy and sturdy. Does not fall over easily, even if bumped when I'm cleaning the floor. It hasn't left any marks or stains on my tile floor even if I put it back while the floor is still wet. It hasn't rusted, changed color or chipped at all, even though there is a shower in this bathroom and it gets humid sometimes. It also can get very cold in this bathroom in winter, so it has been temperature shifts and it hasn't affected the look of this cute guy at all.PRICE: The price is decent for this quality item. It won't break the bank at $25, and mine has stood the test of time. At four years going strong, my cost was $20, so at $5 a year, so far, absolutely worth the price!OVERALL: I'm back writing this review because I was looking to buy two more for my other bathrooms! I don't know why I waited so long and overlooked what a useful item, at a great price and long lasting quality to boot!

Ordered this product as gift for a friend. When it came, it actually had a large crack down the back of it. It didn't really seem like it would affect the function, but it didn't look nice for display. I contacted the company on Christmas day and they actually got back to me right away. They said they would send a replacement, but the first time the request didn't go through in the computer. I contacted them again and they sent a new one out right away. They were always polite every time I contacted them and I think it was just a fluke more than anything. The second one looked perfect.The product itself is very heavy and perfect for either two rolls of toilet paper or a paper towel roll. Great for giraffe lovers!

This giraffe was exactly what I was looking for. I am very pleased with my purchase. It will be used for bathroom tissue so there will not be the problems stated by others when it is used for a paper towel holder. I did however have a problem with the packaging. As this did not detract from the product itself I still gave it 5 stars. When I opened the box that this arrived in I was showered with tiny pieces of the Styrofoam. The giraffe looked like there had been blocks of Styrofoam on each end to keep it secure in the box. Unfortunately most of these blocks had disintegrated into tiny pieces. It was quite a mess.I hope this was just an isolated problem.

Just received my giraffe paper towel holder. Here are a couple of my thoughts:Pro- Giraffe seems to be solid cast iron- Very unique look; different from anything else I have seen- Can fit two rolls of toilet paper on it and still see the head of the giraffe peeking over the top- Seems to be handmade... you can see slight hammer marks on the Giraffe- Will fit two rolls of toilet paper or one roll of paper towels very nicely- Makes a great conversation piece for after a guest steps out of the bathroomCon- Only two fee are soldered to the base of the Giraffe, making a slight rocking noise when moved- The base is very small, and will most likely be knocked over a lot when removing a roll of paper- Packaging... was not sure to place this as a pro or a con. My giraffe was placed within a box with Styrofoam and then within another amazon box. There was no visual damage to the giraffe, but the Styrofoam was shredded into many tiny pieces. Kind of messy.

Super cute! Everyone in the house enjoys it. I initially bought it to use as a paper towel holder but the paper towels kept unrolling. Luckily, it turned out to be even cuter in the bathroom as a toilet paper holder. Any time you can use toilet paper and cute in the same sentence is a win! Makes my house guests smile. Holds 2-3 rolls at a time.

Looking for something to store a few extra rolls, and not wanting any of the modern sparkly chrome swirly things, I saw this and thought, "Why NOT a giraffe?" It arrived in good condition (was very well packed, to my relief after reading reviews of people who got theirs in pieces) and is pretty darn cute. It has a slightly primitive look -- think clay and stone -- which is perfect for me. It is heavy enough that it won't tip over, has a very small 'footprint' so fits anywhere, holds 2 large rolls of t.p. perfectly while still letting enough of the giraffe's neck and head show.Very pleased.

Really works in my bathroom. Got several compliments. A great purchase!

Paper towels.

They stated that there giraffe paper holder was 18 1/2 " high when it is 17 1/2" highThe casting finish is rougher than in the pictures and one leg does not touch the base.
