The Basics of Permaculture Design Paperback – February 25, 2008

I'm currently reading thru this book. It is a great intro to permaculture. I have the Mollison time and the shorter version both but this guide is not as scientific as the Mollison books so it's a great intro to someone unaware of permaculture. I would make the reader aware that this book seems to be Australian in origin but the principles are universal. They also provide 1-2 exercises to put the principles into practice.

Love this book, excellent information, just wish the drawings were in color, like the cover is. The illustrations are great. I guess it would be more expensive if it was color, so I am happy with the price in B & W. One of the better Permaculture design books.

I very much appreciated this book. What put me in a place of respect for it was its' dialogue on misconceptions and some lack of practicality that people who are attracted to permaculture approach with, and so that can be associated with permaculture. There is some thoroughness in this book and I feel it was very much worth the purchase as a designer.

I like it is easy to understand and is clear on how to accomplish your design.

This was the ideal introduction I needed to talk some what intelligently about the back-in-vogue topic of permaculture. The book is written very well as a quick reference guide particularly considering the breadth of the subject matter.

Clear and concise and packed with insight. Great read for beginners and experts. Designers rejoice. This is your book of the day.

This is the very basic. Didn't suit me as I knew all of it.

My very favorite Permaculture book. Small but concise, a real good guide to implement Permaculture in your daily life. 5 stars also for it's ability to make it very simple without putting to much philosophy or historical and geopolitical as some other esotherics do.

very good the only little disappointment is it is all black and white inside. But by colouring it myself i learn even more

Bought this as a gift which went down a treat.

Very good introductory book about permaculture. Very practical as well and great drawings. If you know nothing about Permaculture and want to give it a go, I would get this book .
