Great expo eraser. Extremely handy to have in the classroom. Just spray the board and wipe it or just use the eraser and it easily cleans the board. The size is perfect, each pad lasts a long time and a great value for your money.

I splurged on this for a glass calendar. The holster is superfluous if you don't use it for a wall board, but it comes with both a magnet and an adhesive strip, which I appreciate for my needs. It's large, so if you're erasing a lot it's easy on the hands.

Our son uses a melamine board to work out his Algebra problems, and so he uses an eraser a lot. His old eraser, the standard rectangular one, was looking pretty gross, and there wasn't much we could do with it, although we did try to wash it a time or two. When I was purchasing another melamine board recently, I came across this eraser. It is great. It has a holder for the eraser, that has a magnet back on it, so it just stays at one end of the board, ready for him to use when he needs it. No more hunting for that darned eraser! Also, this eraser is great, because when it gets dirty, you are supposed to be able to peel back the bottom layer, and you are ready to go! I think you can do this 6 times, before you need a replacement. We haven't tried to do this yet, so I don't know if it works as advertised, or not. The shape of this eraser fits nicely in the hand, and with the pointy edge, it will fit into tight places, without erasing much of the other writing you are trying to preserve. I like it so much, I am thinking about getting one for my melamine board I keep on the fridge to write my grocery list on. Very handy, and not too expensive!

I gave it only 4 stars because the fabric layers have pulled away from the tip a little bit. I'm not sure how well it will stay on as I move through the eraser layers.

I didn't have the adhesion issues some people reported with the magnetic back, which was nice. So far it's stuck to the side of the fridge very well, and the whole thing feels very sturdily made. It does an excellent job of erasing our "generic" whiteboard surface, and generally doesn't leave any streaks while doing it. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs something like this mounted out of reach of small, prying hands.

I'd give this a 4.25 or 4.5, if I could, just because of the strange 'cat-tird-like shape'. Other than that, this eraser is great: Pros: + strong magnetic in base sticks to my whiteboard very strongly + erases dry-erase marker from my whiteboard very well -- that's what it's all about + it's nice that the pads come in stacks of 4 and you just peel a layer off when it's spent + also, it's nice that you can replace your entire stack with a new refill stack for ~ $2 + construction is good; this eraser is much more robust than your typical styrofoam or felt ones + rubber grips are nice; it's ergonomic + sheath does its job perfectly; eraser fits snug, but is easy to remove when needed Cons: - Odd, slightly disturbing shape. Looks like a deformed tear drop, or cat poo.

Magnet has strong attraction to my whiteboard. I might suggest a Command-strip option because I'd like to buy one to attach on my whiteboard wall appliqué that is not magnetic.

As a high school teacher I am erasing my whiteboards constantly and many times I am so frustrated that instead of erasing them and not leaving marks, the eraser stain them even more. This one does the job and I am not frustrated as I was before. Leaves no marks at all and my boards are clean.

I was worried that the magnet on the holder wouldn't be all that strong but it holds really well on a quality white board. The erasing media is very good at removing ink from the board. The angled tip allows for easy detail corrections.

Perfect. Big, works well, has a stick pad so you dont have to worry about finding it a home just stick it to ur white board.
