so far so good, nice HD quality video recording my gameplay from xbox1s
so far so good, works pretty well with xbox1si bought a 32gb usb 3 drive (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FDUHD2K)to record the mp4s without needing a pc running while playing.plugged in a pc mic, the small audio jack,hdmi cable from xbox1 goes into the lil unit, hdmi cable from unit to tv/monitor. recording at 1920x1080the unit has to be on, even while not recording, to forward the signal to monitor, i leave it on, rather than rearranging the cables.haven't tried the pc software it came with, it says software needs internet to activate over a 10 minutes limit per file.I don't connect my video editing computers to internet, so i cant use the software.the unit imo, seems a light weight plastic for the 80$there are no control buttons on the unit,it requires the remote.they didn't include the battery for the remote.i did an amazon order to get the battery,was this one; cr2032 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D8P5T0U?th=1some trial and error with the mic volume to get it just right.i'm currently shopping for a better mic to use with this unit,suggestions appreciated!i'm recording some of my witcher3 gameplay for the tubes.

Great capture quality for price but it has an annoying bug.
I really like the recording quality of this product. I've used it for streaming through OBS and for standard capture for YouTube. The remote works well and video quality is excellent. I tried plugging a mic directly into the device but the audio was low. Even with the input turn all the way up so if you want to to do commentary with the video I suggest using OBS or another capturing software.There is one problem I had with the card and I don't know if it's a defect or bug. I can't leave the card connected to my TV because it randomly turns itself on while I watch TV or play games. Then it turns back off and turns my TV off as well. It keeps doing that until I unplug it. It only happens if I turn it off and leave it plugged in. Once I plug it back in to record or stream it works perfectly.

Damaged firmware
Suppose to be plug and play but firmware was damaged so it didn't even work when I got it

Test it right away! I waited too long to return it.
Faulty video output right out of the box. Connects to the PC and also records to USB but with either output it divides the screen and puts a huge green bar down the middle of the screen.
