Classy, study laptop surface for a compact, versatile mobile office
This table is so nice. I work on my computer absolutely everywhere from the kitchen table to the sofa to the bed. And, I wanted table that would be my mobile office that I could move to place to place - without having to commit to setting up space for a desk. I paired this with the Flash Furniture LF-214A-SILVER-GG Vibrant Silver Tractor Seat and Chrome Stool. And, now I have an adjustable laptop table on wheels and an adjustable chair on wheels that I can use together or separately. I love how stable this table is. And, how easy it is to roll it to you and rotate the top. I love the fact that it can also be used as a lecturn.I hate the fact that the grease from the piston is on the frosted underside of the glass leaving permanent fingerprints; I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. I also hate the I mistook the orange knob for the protective cover; it's a larger black cover that was on the underside of the glass. No harm done, but the orange know got scaped up in the process. At first, I thought that would not be able to get it to adjust down. But, I had to pull up the level and lay all of my weight on it. And, it went down without damaging the cart. Again, the cart is very sturdy and very stable.and, it looks nice and subtle in my living room. It blends in adding class but not clutter. All in all, very nice.

Glass top just fell off one day! Loved them before I hated them!
When first reviewed, I gave the product 5 stars and the following recommendation:I have these in every room that I use my computer. They are great looking, stable, easy to move and scoot nicely under sofa or furniture to get close to you. Easy to set up and adjust. Glass is an issue with some mouse sensors - but a paper underneath solves that. I've tried lots of other styles and this is my favorite.Update - May 2014: The glass top on one of my carts just fell off one day when I set a coffee cup on one side. Apparently the glue or whatever they use to hold the glass stopped holding and I'm not sure what to do. I tried calling the manufacturer's warranty telephone numbers and it is always busy. I tried emailing using their form on their website and no response. I tried calling the corporate offices of Calico Designs and ended up leaving multiple messages for various people and never received a call back. The cart sits in my own office and is just used for organizing - not heavily used other than occasional use for my laptop. So it wan't abused ir overused. So - although I still love my stands that actually have glass on them... be warned that the glass may suddenly become unattached. I was hoping I would get a response from the manufacturer that would resolve the problem - I don't have the original documentation, but it looks like most of their products carry a 10 year warrantee, which is pretty worthless if they don't respond.I'm going to try and use glass-only crazy glue that is activated by UV light and see if that works... if not, I'll still have a nice base with no top.I'd still like to hear from the manufacturer, since I still love the design - but its useless if the glass is just going to fall off at some point.

Very Sturdy Table
This is a good, solid table. It was very easy to assemble and was exactly what I wanted for the application. There are some other reviews for similar tables on Amazon and the complaints would apply as follows:(1) This has a very heavy spring that pushes upward with a lot of force. It's hard to push down when it needs to be readjusted. (I have the table where I want it and won't be adjusting it so this isn't a problem for me.)(2) The table is very easy to rotate with no resistance. Even the laptop wires will cause it to rotate. (This isn't a problem for me since I only have to move the wires into the right place.)I like this table so much I'm thinking about getting another one.

Nice sleek and sturdy table top. Fits 17" screen and keyboard.
Using it right now to put my mac screen on. I wanted more room on my desk. This does the job!!! Nice and sleek looking top. Rolls well and very sturdy. It takes a bit of effort to push down the top to the desired height, but easy to put up with lever. If this is what you a looking for, it's a good sturdy small table. Fits my mac 17" screen and keyboard. Not room for a typical mouse, but maybe a trackball.

Glass is nice and sturdy, but the legs are too many and cumbersome.
I use it to place my laptop when I'm on the sofa. The glass is nice and stable and is the same as the expensive tempered glass. It is also quite wide, and I can easily place my laptop and a drink on it. However, it does not able to be raised or lowered. I wish there were fewer legs, so you can tuck them under the sofa.

Terrible product, poorly constructed, does not hold - 3 months and the top is completely separated from the stand
What a poorly designed product - purchased in May - by August all four points that are glued to the stand and broken, glue failed and the glass is loose. So now I have to re-glue the product, or purchase something else.Terrible product

Fast assembly! Really STURDY and COMPACT and nice looking.
I am very very pleased with this item! It was so well packaged and easy to assemble! I had it together in 9 mins (from box to final success) and it feels substantial and sturdy. I didn't need a screwdriver or any tool besides my weak arms. I had to wiggle them to push in the two of the five wheels. The directions were on one page. The most valuable one: remove the protective cap from the post/shank.One thing requires some strength: tafter elevating the top to full height, I had to use my full force of upper body strength to push down the top to its lowest position. You'll see that I'm using it at a comfy spot to support my big old apple monitor and now it can be moved around! Monitor weighs about 15 lbs.Delighted so far!
