Nice concept, but bad execution.
They look nice and function well, however they emit a very high pitched buzzing sound. After contacting Legrand they claimed the originals must be defective, and so I got replacements. Well the replacements do the same thing, all of them do to varying degrees. Some people can hear it, others can't This sort of buzzing is common in cheap dollar store USB chargers, but should not be an issue on expensive units such as these. It seems they likely just purchased the cheapest 2.1 amp units they could from some chinese supplier and threw them in a fancy case. Unfortunately I guess I will have to live with them for now. The Kitchen was wired to have a dedicated usb outlet on the bar, and any other type of outlet would look a little silly. I'll just have to live with the buzzing for now and hope that they release a higher quality unit in the future.

Do not pair this with a 2 module device
A bit disappointed compared to the other Legrande switches and outlets I have recently installed. When you pop the devices into the frames, they are securely held in place by the tabs clicking into the frame. When I pair this device up with a standard 2-module outlet after purchasing the 3-module frame and faceplate, I find that there is not good solid attachment between the bottom of the outlet and the side of the USB module. The two devices kind of "float" beside each other and consequently are only lined-up and flush with each other when I take the time to do that manually, after unplugging an AC cord or a USB device. These engineers should have come up with something to latch the devices together. There are not even any indentations in the USB device to catch the tabs at the bottom of the outlet! This would have made a world of difference and would not have been obvious from the outside. I do not recommend pairing this device with another 2-module device as the website recommends. I have not tried two USB modules side-by-side in a 2 module faceplate, but I assume that they would be fairly solid together.

Looks clean with the Adorne wall plate.
I had a different experience than a previous reviewer who did not recommend using this module in a 1-gang /3-module set-up. Mine worked just fine installed with a duplex power module. Works great, charges fast. My only gripe is the cost, of course, and the many wires I ended up with that makes it difficult to have a tidy installation..

Beautiful but emit high pitched sound
They are beautiful and charge at a decent speed. However, the other reviewers are correct, they emit a high pitched sound that is quite disturbing :(

Love the USB outlet and Pop-Out outlet together.
I've been slowly upgrading my home electrical outlets and switches with the Legard Adorne line. I added this USB outlet (5V 2.1A output) to an Adorne Pop-Out outlet for my office. They look amazing together, and I even have a spare slot for future addition of another USB outlet.
